DevelUpdate #030 - Battle of Midway (Patreon)

I have just finished the first 20% of Chapter 4.5 and this combined with the ending of Chapter 4 marks the halfway point of Game 2 in terms of story and is a bit different in terms of structure. 

I am still very much learning how to write a story of this scope and not to mention working on improving the content, so there are less mistakes and fewer bugs. It does feel good to be halfway not only in Game 2, but also in the trilogy as a whole, at least from a story perspective. 

I started writing down ideas in late 2015 and at first it was a slow battle with learning Adrift while trying to add content and fixing the large amount of bugs I also kept adding. I am still very grateful to the testers that stuck with me through the first 6 months. It was not a pretty sight. Luckily that got better with time and now I know what I can and cannot do at least. You will se more in a new BTS post sometime next week, were I will show some images from what could have been.
