My computer wont turn on. I dont really know why but i assume its the power supply as i dont even get lights. This supply is hardly two months old and i am stressed that if i replace it again my computer still wont turn on because of some other broken part.  Then it would just be a waste of time and money.

I am incredibly stressed in general but either way i plan to rplace the part tommrow if not today. Expect a small hiatus but most likely il get just 2 projects done this month. I am very sorry.

Hey, don't be sorry, these things happen! We understand. If you're stressing out too much then take a break and spend some time taking care of yourself.

It's unlikely but it might be the power switch itself. I've seen those break or come loose. Can you take the front cover off and poke the power switch directly? Or find where it connects to the motherboard, and use a small screwdriver to bridge the pins it connects to? Speaking of the motherboard, it might be a good idea to examine it with a torch, and see if any parts of it look damaged. If you have a scorched MB chip, or a popped capacitor, a new PSU won't make any difference. Also make sure to check the fuses and ALL the power switches and cables. Including the ones behind the desk that you can't see. You'd be surprised how often that gets overlooked. You can also test for most of the above without unpacking the new PSU.

Motherboard seems in good shape. I eben checked the battery also gave it an olfactory test. No burn smell.ui cant see an led on the back of the psu when its pluged in. Also i get a slight burn smell from it
