Greetings Bosses!

I hope you're all having a fine, relaxing Sunday and that any sword wielding pirates with evil intent got stuck in traffic on the way to your houses. :)


Just a little update here. I think I've found my stride with the gaming videos. They should be coming out quite consistently from now on and will soon be released once per day. So, now that I've got that going, it's time to make some rants! I have ideas for at least the first few. I won't spoil the surprise, but I will say that they're going to deal with very current social issues... some topics that I really believe needs ranted about! 


Someone also suggested to me that I do updated video versions of my old audio rants. Looking over those old ones, some of them are kind of outdated and deal with issues that don't even exist anymore (see: Gay Marriage). But there are some that COULD be redone and fit the times just fine! What do you guys think of this idea? Want to see some of your old favorites redone in video?


Anyway, keep an eye out for those coming soon. And please continue to comment and ask questions and make suggestions in the chat here! I really love reading them and responding if I can and... hey, I figure if you're funding me then we should at least get to talk to each other sometimes, right? :)

Updating your old rants in video form sounds like a great idea to me!

I agree, I still have audio files of most of them, but your reactions add extra flair to them.

I'd love to hear how your positions on old rants have changed as the topics have changed.

Your Anime rant is my all-time favorite, but I think a good one to revisit is Violence, where you ranted that movie makers were taking the blood and guts out of action movies, or something. Actually, if you could somehow make a new rant about idiots who think that viewing FICTION with "inappropriate content" has widespread, damage effects... somehow...

Hmm. Well, with something like the Gay Marriage rant, obviously since we HAVE that now, I have a quite different outlook on the subject. There are a few rants that I feel a little differently about now because the topics themselves have evolved over time. But for the most part, my overall views haven't changed much on some issues.

I'd definitely redux the Anime rant. Also the movie violence one along with the one about sequels and intelligent design.

Oh, I'm SO doing that. But I'm going to split it into three different sets of people. One of the rants I'm going to do is going to be on "Safe Spacers".

Videos of older rants would be nice, but this also gives you the chance to show how the years may have changed (Or not) your views on certain topics. Plus Youtube is a better place to discuss thoughts and get people talking about whatever subject you bring up. Hey, even if you're opinion has completely changed, make a rant about how it's changed. Showing what you've learned is a good process that can help other people look at things critically.

I'd love to see some of the old rants again. Still have a few on my ipod for when I need a good laugh. Just make sure you keep the outtakes. I want to see some rant fuckups. It would be interesting to see any changes in opinion you might have had as well. As for gay marriage, you could always do a bit laughing at the assholes who refuse to accept it. It's like watching a bunch of children throwing a collective temper tantrum.

I think it's a good idea, if I'm not mistaken it's nearly been a decade since many of them went up and remastering not only gives you the opportunity to update them for the times, but publicise them for viewers who otherwise wouldn't have gone out of their way as you rebuild a crowd on youtube. Modern internet audiences can be fickle.

I would really love to see the new rants made available as audio files as well as videos. I like to listen to them on the go and my old MP3 player doesn't really handle video. I can always convert them myself, but it never sounds as good as the CDs or mp3s from your old website.
