Love the re-write in chapter 20! I Just missed the part where the ranger was shocked that she can exceed her powerlevel without death. But I guess all the interesting stuff doesnt need to be crampt in one chapter.

We didn't get to see that part, but you can still take that as something that would still be true if/when it comes up! Just didn't get around to it and the chapter was getting a bit long!

"Whats his problem" feels like a MASSIVE underreaction to a sudden murder attempt that nearly succeeded. That alone nearly broke my suspension of disbeleif

I'm guessing Taniel was concerned about the alpha ralfot caving in the narrow space the rest of the way. Elania provoked it into charging at the rocks where the cave-in happened, and only leapt out of the way at the last moment, causing it to, well, test the structural integrity of the narrow channel. When he told her to get away from there, he wanted her to *lead* the alpha away from it.

I think the part was also taken out where she finds out she was summoned rather than some "demon queen" because the damn cultists said the name wrong.
