I‘d really recommend checking out some SBS and MBC Gayo performances. Of course, no pressure whatsoever but I think you‘d really enjoy some of the perfs, especially from groups that didnt attend MAMA (like fromis for example, their perfs were top notch)

Of the rest of the awards, you can watch MMA and GDA, I think you can skip the rest of the awards. Also we have sbs, mbc,kbs shows, if you have free time.

The nct sbs gayo daejeon performance is probably one of my favs ever, you definitely haveeee to see it! GDA and MMA performances were also amazing for everyone, id recommend those award show for sure!

When I watched the IDLE performance I honestly got a bit emotional when they MADE the audience say "I'm a queenka." It was such a way to make sure everybody knows the song isnt "IDLE is a queencard" it is that "you are a queencard." It is such a stupid, stupid song but they manage to punch me with it 😅

PERSONALLY my fav award show this year was GDA (golden disk awards). Actually last year as well. I love it bc most artists get a decent length for performances & often sing b-sides as well, like le sserafim finally sang fire in the belly (+unforgiven), zerobaseone also added our season (+ an amazing intro duo dance & in bloom), IVE sang holy moly (+ baddie & I am) stayc sang a medley of twice, red velvet and girls generation & teddy bear & bubble. Stray kids sang megaverse, s-class & hall of fame. BSS performance was just ICONIC...omg and yeonjuns cover of taemins guilty...and zb1 hanbin, taerae and hao sang a cover of IUs through the night. But like the MMAs were great this year as well, and I get it that award shows are suuper long to react to 😭

Knowing how much you loved the rock version of antifragile I would highly recommend GDA performances! The LESSERAFIM collab with YB performance might make you guys brain explode with the rock versions of Unforgiven, fire in the belly and Stay Alive

I think what’s really amazing about seventeen, is that they are so loveable. There is SO much affection towards them and I think it especially shows when Uhm junghwa announced their award and how many people truly celebrated their award after the show (many people came online to show support). She didn’t have to say that, but she did bc she genuinely wanted to see them win, like everybody there, everyone watching and everyone who has been waiting for this moment. It was almost a cathartic moment seeing it all happen in real time, like it was always bound to happen but no one knew when. Somehow, seventeen has made the industry fall in love with them. And it shows why through Seungkwan’s speech. They love kpop and they love being idols, and they love being sunbaes/seniors. Not for the fact that being a senior idol gives them benefits, but for the fact that they can openly love and support OTHER groups and idols. They are the idols’ Idol. Not because they set crazy standards and impossible feats, but because they genuinely love what they do and are unapologetically themselves. They constantly try to praise other idols and connect with them. They truly are the social butterflies of kpop. Respect is a two way street, and svt has so clearly earned it.

Okay, so I wasn't planning on watching every single one of these videos, but each performance was so good that I just kept watching. The performances just kept on getting better, but Seventeen is still on a whole other level. That stage was EPIC. They're so incredible! Their acceptance speeches made me so emotional, especially Woozi and Seungkwan. I broke down when Seungkwan thanked Moonbin. Considering it was his birthday last month, it feels so raw watching this now.

I just wanna say that you guys are so correct about how the members are able to fill that gap whenever a member is on rest or hiatus. Saw them recently for their concert and Jeonghan & Coups are unfortunately not able to join due to health reasons but whenever they perform you can’t really feel that a member is missing because Seventeen knows how to fill that gap especially Hoshi because you can really feel that he wants to make sure that people watching their show is receiving more than their money’s worth. I still stan a lot of groups but the moment I stanned Seventeen no one else comes close. They really deserve all the awards and recognition that they are being given. Watching this made me realize how important must it be for them that they will now be performing on Nissan stadium, another dream come true right there. Also, this is me once again hoping we get a Follow Tour reaction in the future.

I love how Seventeen slightly modified the lyrics for Super. Instead of saying "This manhwa's ending song", they said "This MAMA's ending song". Such a nice touch.

If you guys were ever free to watch some of the other award shows I recommend MMA & SBS Gayo but I have to warn the camera work for SBS was atrocious especially for the NCT stages
