Xikers performance was soo good. I went to their concert in Europe a couple of days ago and it was actually mind blowing how talented and full of energy they are. Even my sister who went with me and isn't really into kpop had to acknowledge that it was her best kpop concert with me and she liked their music. They are definitely the best 2023 rookies!

OMG ANTON!! Btw, just some additional facts about him, he was a professional swimmer in the US (he's from New Jersey). He has done it for almost 10 years. He's also a cello player and I heard he plays as principal cellist before, so he's really good at it! He also plays piano. Such a talented kid! He's also really interested in music, he already did some composing and producing pre-debut and was credited. Also, I'm not sure if you're familiar but his father is also a famous producer/composer in Korea (Yoon Sang - you may probably have seen him if you watched King of Masked Singer. He's one of the regular casts there). He produced a lot of songs for different artists like IU, BoA, etc. and most of Lovelyz songs I believe. Sorry for the long comment. LOL I just want to express how proud I am of him and his group RIIZE. They're so talented. 🫶🥹

Yes!! They also in some shows together ☺️ He also did a collab stage with RIIZE in MBC Gayo. LOL

INI is a group formed from Season 2 of Produce 101 Japan. Anthony from Boys Planet was in this season. JO1 and INI are from the same company Lapone. They also have another group made with contestants from season 2 called DXTEEN

So, JO1 and INI are both produce groups as well but from Produce Japan. There is also the Japanese girl goup ME:I and the Chinese groups Rocket Girls 101, R1SE, BonBon Girls 303 and INTO1

So many thoughts! -Why do I shed a tear every time I watch Yujin dance to Endless Rain? The entire performance was incredible. Each of the performers were fantastic! -I'm so proud of Xikers! 😭 The member you mentioned (who reminds you of Bobby) is Sumin. -This is my first time listening to JO1. I love the song! I'm definitely going to listen to it again. -I love INI! I personally prefer their more intense songs, but this was a beautiful stage. I recommend checking out their song Fanfare! -OMG, Jeon Somi is incredible! And this stage was amazing!

I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with MAMA 2023!!! First off having their own light stick so its all inclusive and all supportive instead of fan wars and black oceans. It really brought everyone together and showed support for kpop and music as a while entity not separate groups. Second is the pure showmanship of these artists!!! Like fucking hell &team and xikers and just everyone really brought their A++++++ game and more!! I had to sit in my car and cry after the Wonder stage with Yoshiki Taehyun and Kai. Like that stage alone is what music was made for. The raw emotion and power from that stage and everyone singing at the end with the lights im just so greatful to be alive to have witnessed that even if not in person. I cant believe how much kpop has changed over the last 5 years even. It was NEVER THIS FUCKING GOOD and INSANE!!

Taehyun and Hueningkai made so many people speechless. Their vocals were so beautiful! Definitely one of the best performances of the night

By the way… Yoshiki, the piano player in the first performance of this video (the collab stage) is the artist behind the 4th Shingeki no Kyojin opening (Red Swan, the one we are seeing in the season we are watching right now). Regarding xikers! They are just showing us that Ateez wasn’t just one time “hit”/luck, but KQ has started to build their image/face as other bigger/even the biggest labels already have. And… oh my god, MinJae! I don’t know their names that much to be honest, but his stage present made me search who he is and I found out he had been training for 7 years before he debuted, he has been with KQ even before Ateez debuted! I am kind of glad he is in xikers, but at the same time I am somehow wondering how he would fit into Ateez… I mean, he was younger back then, I know… so maybe he needed that time to get into this crazy form (😎😎), but still it would be interesting to see him grow in Ateez and he would be interesting element to HongJoong and Minqi! I say this a lot that I like the “duality” of two rappers as HongJoong and Minqi, G-Dragon and T.O.P and for example Youngguk and Zelo of B.A.P, but at the same time I can imagine MinJae being an interesting element in Ateez to HongJoong and Minqi. Something as in Treasure we have HyunSuk, Yoshi and Haruto

I will say it again, if you are obsessed with SOMI's dancers, most of them appear in street man fighter (even though they're from different teams)!! Soooo if you ever feel like diving deeper into them (and SEVENTEEN's main choreographer) I highly recommend watching it. It's a fun show, even if it's an Mnet show.

Regarding your words of “now comes the moment of big war of Kpop” and the whole speech of soloist stopped being popular but then groups would disband and now both has been changing… I have already said somewhere that I consider Kpop as an evolution from the first generation up to the fourth generation, where it came to its final form and with the fifth generation the history has started to repeat itself, but with the key difference that the evolution is happening in the world-wide scale
