actually when i watched this show on disney+ it didn't have those harsh cuts. it might just be a hulu thing. the editing overall doesn't feel as smooth as it does on disney.

When this show first dropped on Disney they had the first 7 episodes were available at the same time and then they did they usual 2 eps per week thing. It made sense for the pacing of the show. You had to binge the show coz you only started getting the full picture halfway through but they really took time fleshing out all the characters. Its a really star studded cast so you're gonna be going 'hey its this guy!' 'I know him from somewhere' a lot lol.

I'm watching this series for the first time with you guys. It's pretty interesting so far. It feels like there are so many people in on the secrets, but also so many different groups working against each other. The whole story seems pretty complex.

this episode defined the series for me, in very rare occasions a film makes me go "give me the fucking script rn, this is magnificent" and moving is one of those cases, writing is insane, i'm short on time these days but i'm so excited for your reactions to this😭

Apologies for the spam from the first episode of this drama but you probably wouldn’t be reading my comment otherwise if I didn’t post the same comment on every moving ep and no guarantee you’ll even be reading this one on this ep but: I’m not sure if this is a good comparison to the weird editing and your description of microcosms of moments you mentioned in the first moving ep (if I even am understanding that concept correctly), but maybe Extraordinary You is similar yet slightly different editing because it’s whole scenes that are skipped too with this weird noise that sounds like you’re turning a comic book page. I won’t say anymore because it’ll be spoilers if you ever want to watch it. Rowoon from SF9 is a main character there and the actor who plays Jang Uk in Alchemy of Souls as well.

I mentioned that yall are watching too many dark stuff for my heart and mind to handle and I’m not taking that back. I know this is a supernatural kdrama rather than a thriller or horror one which I tend to avoid because I cannot unsee what’s been seen and I’m afraid of having nightmares of scenes that I wanna unsee, but this episode 32 mins in did it for me. I won’t be continuing this Moving journey with yall. Any more brutal deaths and I will be traumatized and having nightmares constantly. This is exactly why I don’t watch stuff like this 😭 but it’s also not like the other stuff you watch doesn’t having killing and brutal deaths. I guess it’s just the type of death and how realistic it seems. I really hope you do more lighter stuff in the future because I might have to forego a few of them if it’s all going to be dark ones at the same time and then my $20 will partly be a waste, still I didn’t say that to dictate what you watch but this ain’t it for me
