Idk if you guys remember from season 1 but Choso and his brothers are all half human/half cursed spirits called “Death Painting Wombs” that were conceived, aborted and sealed by Jujutsu sorcerers until Mahito found them and used random vessels to awaken

oh blaire you said something so important "we could have been --- in another life" breaking down the scene, i feel like its not that clear in the anime, so just for clarification, sukuna commented on yuji being pathetic for losing to "such riffraff", implying that choso is an inferior enemy. he closed his eyes, as if accepting that they were both dying (and yes pd sukuna would still live on via the other fingers). but, he then opened his eyes and did a "hm?", he was surprised. after that we saw choso and yuji's blood mixing on the floor just like you guys said and then a symbol on it (the symbol is very important). something you want to remember from last season is that choso was able to know his brothers had died before fake-geto got the text, the brothers are linked and he is the oldest one. also as a refresher from S1, the 9 death paintings (choso and others) were created because an evil sorcerer from the kamo clan from 150 years ago (him and student noritoshi share the same name) impregnated a woman 9 times who was able to give birth to a child fathered by a curse. the death painting's relation to the sorcerer from the kamo clan also explains their blood technique! and that makes choso a hybrid (?) lol. i loved all the commentary on this episode, choso is at least top3 favorite characters for me, i can't wait for ya'll to see more of him in the anime! and omg love to hear you're reading the manga pd, that will help a lot to understand this season and to connect some easter eggs that were left in the past.

This fight is my fav this season and yes watched them all. THIS is the best combat fight. Hand in hand. Also that bathroom is stinky as hell, how did they even inhale all that rusty smell.. gosh..

I agree with the symbolism but I think at the end Choso physically had a stroke because the narrator mentioned that one of consequence of his ability was spontaneous thrombosis which can cause a clot to reach his brain.
