ITS HERE ITS HERE ITS HERE IM 13 MINS IN I HAVE TRANSCENDED INTO ANOTHER DIMENTION FR im crying and shaking i don't mind being made fun of because this is exactly what I've been wanting and im not even done Ok I'm done with the killing voice, but I'm listening to the discussion right now, so I'm gonna try to help when I can. - First, I'll say BTOB had been training to be multiple types of group before their debut including acapella which I thing is a big thing in their music, like how they will purposefully harmonize with eachother in a way that makes it just feel like that. Also just their melodic music + their very clear vocals add to that aswell! - For Eunkwang, I would say his voice! Like I have totally seen Eunkwang having improved his technique, and I have recommanded his performance of The Man (from their 10th anniversary concert) to you before, and I will again, because it made me realize how much he's improved technique wise! - PD YOU NEED to listen to Sungjae's mini album from a couple years back on your own if you can, I love it sO MUCH! - Hyunsik said he has been working on his new album so look forward to that!! - I totally know what you're saying about Changsub LMAOOO btw talking about him you should totally watch his last comeback Surrender, it's quite different and SO GOOD! Obviously you should also react to his Lee Mujin Service! Changsub is the most unique person in kpop I love him he doesn't give a shit LOL - BTOB in general really shine the most when they sing live, like for the Wind and Wish song, like you will react to the MV, but if you react to a live stage, you'll see the difference, like I lost my mind to them!! Part of it is they really love music and they LOVE singing on stage to melodies and along with eachother, you can feel that!! While a recording (they exist if you wanna watch one), they all do their parts (mostly) separately and so the insane vibe you get live doesn't translate as well! Finally, I want to recommand BTOB's 10th anniversary concert for you to react to in December. Looks like it's on Youtube without subs, but I could find a way to upload my copy (I bought the DVD&Blu-Ray) with subs to Google Drive and send it to you if you would like to react to it! To say how insane it was, they literally start the concert with 2 finale songs, like who the fuck does that lmaoo Thank you so much for finally reacting to it and if you read through all of this welp thank you even more!! Excited for the future of BTOB and the future of PD & Blaire! 💙💙💙💙💙💙마지막까지 우리의 Story는 영원히 끝나지 않아💙💙💙💙💙💙

YES!! I have wanted to see your thoughts on this for so long!

Hrathen

Kinda wish PD does Killing voice like he does Lee Mujin, lots of good oldies on that channel

ice4fresh

Omg, finally!. Can't wait to watch this tomorrow morning😭😭.

Sungjae has always had this underdog feel to him. Everyone always has high regards for the other three vocalist while they relegate Sungjae as an actor/visual. I think that's why he always gives 110% in live performances.

B

What you really need to see are BTOB performances on vocal competition shows. Specifically their performance of "Cold", really touched me.

B

I know Eunkwang said on Kingdom that those are the performances he's most proud of too.

The little thumbs up bubble for Blaire around 5:56 was so cute. Loved that little edit

Jodi Wong

pd i don’t know if you remember but 괜찮아요 is actually the song that the vocalists from each group sang together in the last episode of road to kingdom!

Blaire 🌻

omg its not an edit, the new Mac update just- does that now with certain gestures lol -B

kimi

Love this! pls watch Changsub on LMJ too!

Roxy

Hope you’ll reupload Seventeen Killing Voice cause it wasn’t available when i joned the chanel and now it’s gone 😔

ice4fresh

I think for men the higher tone voice is called 'tenor' not 'soprano', while a darker is called 'baritone'.

Cherls

My melody heart so full with each BTOB reaction 😭 the wait was so worth it 😭🥹🥹

FINALLY YOU ARE HEARING WIND & WISH. THAT COMEBACK AND WHOLE ALBUM ARE EVERYTHING

The only other singer I can think of that comes close to Eunkwang is Changmin of TVXQ. They both have that choir type of voice. Also Junsu since he does mostly musicals now. Both Eunkwang and Changmin could be in musicals too. They just have so much experience in the industry now no one can touch them. Eunkwang, Changsub, Changmin, Junsu, Chen ect... Theyre all the perfect singers.

Mali

Eunkwang is a musical actor (Changsub as well), Changmin has said he wants to do musical acting (I'm pretty sure he's done one quite a while ago) I really hope he does

Mali

Knowing that it wasn't an edit cracks me up 😂

Mali

Loved it! ❤️

Yess i have been waiting!! Thank u PD 💓

Truly did not disappoint. I love how much you love and appreciate this group. Thanks for the reaction!

One thing I love about btob is even though they debuted 11 almost 12 years ago they still very humble to their seniors and their ‘juniors’. And yes they’re really humble and still go to vocal lesson after debuting for 11 years and being one of the legends vocal groups…… Last 2 or 3 years Eunkwang sang Tears by So Chan Whee, everyone saw the improvement from what he sang 6 or 7 years ago, and (I guess this year) he sings this song again and shock everyone how much he’d improved. So I think his voice is already really good but what’s makes him reached this level is his technique from going to vocal lesson for this many years. (Applies for both Eunkwang and Changsub) Sungjae and Hyunsik have always been an underdog and underrated, I think killing voice really helps more people to recognize both of their skills. Since both of them has really powerful, belting, lower range positions in the group but also can reach really high notes.

PD, I just want to thank you because you're actually one of the reasons why I dove deep into BTOB and eventually to Kpop. I first discovered Sungjae in School 2015, was shocked to find out he's in a kpop group (I srsly thought BTOB were comedians) thebn I stumbled in your reaction videos. Through you, I got to learn more about Kpop and appreciate their artistry. Watching this reaction has gotten me emotional. 1. Because of BTOB's unparalleled vocals. 2. Your high regards of them. BTOB, despite being vocal monsters, probably the best vocal line in the industry, doesn't really get the love their talent deserves internationally. I wonder if it made a difference if they were complete in Kingdom? They did get more popular but I wanted more for them. I guess, it's also Cube's lousy marketing. they did not utilize the hype Kingdom brought. It's been more than a decade but BTOB is still as passionate as they were back in their rookie days. Thank you for always loving and appreciating them, PD!

I agree, \what makes BTOB's vocal harmony different from other groups is its complexity or dynamics. Layered with highs and lows in different vocal tones and textures, it sounds full. They dont just give you high notes. They give you RANGE. They're trained as an acapella group too so they know how to project their voices with resonance and clarity without sounding like their fighting. They always blend so well. They always create 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th voices along with the melody and then eventually sing in unison. It gives the satisfaction of listening to diverse vocals leading to that perfect harmony. You hear one adlib after another and another, yet they go well with the main melody. Other groups, despite having great vocalists, doesn't really have this complexity of BTOB's vocals. The most noticeable difference? They do it effortlessly and flawlessly. Singing never felt like a chore when watching them. They didnt feel text-book like vocalist, following certain techniques to create a performance. They just always feels like they're on stage to tell a story through music and have fun along the way.

Sungjae's my bias ever since because of how heavy in emotions his vocals carry. You feel the weight in his voice and it tugs at your heartstrings in ways he can only deliver. I believe you barely watched them live, PD. That's why you've only come to see how good Sungjae is. I suggest you check him out on Fantastic Duo. Gummy's episode. He was there competing with Blackpink Rose and a musical actor. He won as Gummy's duet. and him and Gummy were champions against a veteran singer 😁 That competion showed Korea and the world that Sungjae wasnt just a visual/actor. he's also as gifted of a vocalist like his hyungs

Every Melody's initial suggestion to a new fan is "WATCH THEIR LIVE STAGES" Because we know how even better they sound raw. 🤣 Now I hope you listen to their live performances in every comeback. It's always an experience guys. Oh how I wish I could see them in person someday. They haven't come here in PH in a long long time.

Shara Padilla

You nailed it on Hyunsik, guys! He's one of very few vocalists with an insane range. 🔥 Both his highs and lows are incredible

Noem

If I succeed sure! If not the concert is already on youtube subbed, just really bad quality so why I didn't recommend it haha

Fun little tidbit.....the producer of Killing Voice immediately issued an apology when they released this episode bc he didn't realize HOW LOUD btob was able to sing so he didn't properly set up the mics.....it's why on a few sections when they're going nuts it actually sounds slightly off tune bc they basically blew out the gain on the mics
