I remember PD discussing the always dreaded discussion of who is the best singer in xyz (in the whole world, in kpop etc.) Jongho came up and I immediately thought "Even though I can see why PD thinks that I could never go discuss vocals without mentioning the big hyun 3 - Jonghyun, Baekhyun, Kihyun." Technique can go very far, but when artist are close to god tier level it balances on a very thin line of pure preference. So here I am so happy that you guys finally checked out this episode and discover yet another part of one of my favourite people in kpop. Btw when it comes to world class vocalist. I will be so Polish right now and recommend checking out Igor Herbut from the band called Lemon. I've never heard an artist serving his unique on a silver platter so clearly. You will hardly ever hear someone sing in a similar style as him. Complete control of the technical aspect, musicality out of this world, fonetically something I've never seen before. Kihyun has always carried himself like a confident little prick, even during the survival show that made Monsta X, he just knows he’s that good so he acts like it. Watching him all these years, it was obvious how much more polished he got over the years, but the confidence was always there and always the same energy. To put it into perspective, in his rookie days he just belt out a Jonghyun song for his evaluation ‘cause he just knew he could. Kihyun vocals are so stellar bc it's unique but naturally adaptive. He stands as one of the best vocalist in the idol world by far. His stylistic interpretation is interesting and will always stand out. I really hope y'all will also check out the recent Lee Mujin Service with D.O soon.

Kihyun is a self-proclaimed "Confident King". He knows his strengths, honestly- it's so hot. You're just drawn to him like he's come kind of mystical magical singing sorcerer unicorn.
