I love the love for Xiaojun!! Thank you both for checking this out. He's definitely one of my favorite idols, everything from his ethereal visuals, heavenly vocals, and his dancing too is one of the best I've ever seen in a main vocal.

This is my favorite lee mujin episode, i was lost for words when i realized you guys haven't reacted to it lol 🤣 i'm glad the day is finally here! Xiaojun is such a funny, hardworking and respectful guy! I can see he was nervous at first but definitely killed it with that Ashes cover. WayV is personally my favorite NCT unit. I hope you guys can react to more WayV stuff, they have lots of content!😊

Oh i 100% agree with the Jonghyun and Xiaojun commentary. When Wayv was first introduced, Xiaojun reminded me a lot of Jonghyun visually with the brows and cheekbones. Even their personalities, i found a few similarities back then. Theyre both really good at is controlling their voice wether its being soft breathy, husky or projecting their voice. Just like Blaire mentioned, in End of a day, Jonghyun progressively projects his voice towards the end of the song. I’ve watched many live performances of him singing this song and there was once where he belted almost like sing shouting and you can just feel the overwhelming emotions. Hi there! Super happy about your reaction to Xiaojun in Lee Mujin service. When I first saw him he reminded me immediately of Jonghyun too and the way you described his voice here is also I feel about him. His voice comes close to sounding like Jonghyun but it's also very different? You can definitely get to know him better with wayv contents (like wayv's summer talk) and I'll also add that he's such a resilient person. He used to be bullied in middle/high school because of his openness and vulnerability to show emotions (which translates just beautifully in his singing capabilities) and because his father (who's also a musician) is a famous drag performer. He has a background in musical theater so I'm super happy he's doing what he loves in NCT.

I was shocked when I realized he would be covering Celine Dion! He did an incredible job! Definitely brought me to tears along with End Of a Day ofc. Particularly when he explained his favourite lyrics and the message he wanted to send to people.. it really was what I needed to hear <3

FYI Xiaojun is Chinese from mainland China. He's one of the "uncomplicated" wayv members who's just Chinese Chinese. He's from the southern Cantonese region, so he speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.

I've always liked Xiaojun because his voice and visuals stood out to me in WayV/NCT U but this episode cemented him as my fave vocalist in NCT. That Ashes and End of the Day cover blew me away, the range and the emotions he portrays through those songs was just out of this world. Also the bravery to cover such industry legend singers such as Celine Dion and Jonghyun, but he definitely did them justice. What gets me the most with Xiaojun is he sings with so much emotion and he really feels every lyric he sings, and like you said he's a mood setter; he brings you into the song where when he sings all your focus is just on him. I just respect him a lot as a singer and a performer. He's truly a star.

Absolutely loved this reaction! The comments you guys made about Xiaojun covering Jonghyun were really insightful, and something I didn’t think much about when first watching his performance. Xiaojun is one of my favorite NCT members, and my WayV bias, so I am so happy to see you reacting to content featuring him. I would LOVE to see a reaction to WayV’s latest release ‘Phantom’, and perhaps even a listening party to the album as well. It has been my favorite WayV album so far! Also if you plan to check out WayV content/ content with Xiaojun in the future that would be amazing! I feel like they are a really underrated sub-unit of NCT. Thank you for another great video!
