After hearing everyone’s feedback I will first make sure to get all scheduled content out starting with Tuesday’s releases.

I cannot guarantee times but I will have all of Tuesday content by tomorrow. I will prioritize on Thursday content next and then bonus drops.

While being honest with everyone was for my mental health, I am choosing to make it right for your mental healths as well. I know many of you struggle either personally or financially and these videos are a place of therapy for you.

But I have no therapy of my own because I don’t have time. But I also understand that no one is saying “don’t choose your happiness” it’s more like “we want you to be happy but we have lives too and you were supposed to make us happy” maybe in not so many words but that’s what I’m taking from it collectively.

So I’ll get back to it. I’m mentally better and have actively been at it all day to get myself to such a place. Knowing that you all understand is enough.

Going forward I will still put out more content than other reactors out there but I will be reducing it from what I put out now. It will still be a lot and I will keep y’all entertained. Once I fully figure it out, I will post an official update & change to here and YouTube.

But I will take breaks. And I am OK if you unsubscribe during my breaks and then come back only on content drop months. I understand you all as you have understood me.

And as I understand, I made a promise to you all. I’m a few days behind and faltered on said promise but I will do my best to atone for that.

I’ll just focus on two things going forward: making decisions of my own free will, no longer governed by others; and fulfilling the promises I make with those decisions.

I'll be fully honest with this. I respect your decision, I also understand other's opinion, who were about to leave. But for me it all seems like this whole situation is going in circles and I worry about that, about you, PD! I can easily see, you will be able to do, what you said in this post, but sooner or later we will get to the same point again and again. When you mentioned in recent video, you would like to have a child soon, I started to think if that doesn't imply you will have to find new stable job. By stable I mean financially and for your mental health as well... And that brought an idea to my mind... Shouldn't you take a break from all of this for some amount of time? I don't want to say I want you to quit this Patreon or something like that. But I want you to be save from yourself and to be able to enjoy the life you have been wishing for for such a long time.

BinnieBun

Yes this is what I wanted. I'm sorry if any of my comments came off as harsh or maybe mean, I never want to be taken as mean to anyone. I'm glad you made this post finally and appreciate you working to make it right. I hope moving forward we can all be a source of each other's happiness on this patreon. I've been on and off as a patron for a very long time and have followed your YT since I became a fan of KPOP and in a way you were my only KPOP friend, so I'll probably stay for a long time moving forward as well. All I wanted was communication about certain issues and you've delivered that now so thank you

Lance Ma

just feels like PD you are trying do too much content before you even have a consistent work routine down, remember how tough of time you had just try to deal with queendom 2 and produce 48 at the same month so you end up dropping one. That really tick a lot people off because you realize you capacity to handle it too late, I feel like you been doing that constantly by taking in way more than you can handle, and only sound the alarm you can't do it midway. That's the worst way to go about, don't set expectation beyond your ability, and when you can't follow through you just anger a lot of people for no reason. Now ever since you were getting into anime and k drama reaction, that is another level compare to just do kpop music and variety reaction, that much contents for you is not sustainable unless you are a die hard fans of every series, most anime reactors only watch anime nothing else, same with kdrama, you have to decide what path you want for this patreon because you can't dive deep in all 3 fields you try to go into. You can't do it half hearted because people have certain expectations, so there is now way you not going to burn yourself out. You were just a kpop reactor before you get into those, I do sometimes wish you just stick with that because it is more flexible in how you consume the content since there is no plot lines that you have to follow or need constantly engage in, so the subject matter is less heavy that it won't drains you after each watch. Kpop contents is enough to sustain your channel.

hey PD, thank u so much for putting so much effort into trying to figure out a balance that works best for everyone! i for one am thrilled at the new schedule, however i do wonder if it is too much strain on you ! i havent even made a dent into all the gose/channel9/leniverse bulk drops, so please please prioritise your mental health, as to me this still seems like your trying to do too much stuff at once and i do hope you get to go to korea, the idea you pitched in the update video for it sounded incredible! i’ll support you whenever, (i’m still working through queendom2 ans gp999!) but please understand that many patreons won’t be able to do so, and so don’t feel disheartened if many have to leave if you cut back on reactions . and please be open with us if you’re genuinely struggling and can’t handle it, because i’d rather no reactions than reactions were you’re not mentally up for it, everyone needs rest!!!! thank you for everything ! ❤️

I agree with everyone and this is not to pile on. I have had no real problem supporting the Patreon with no hassle since I have the disposable income. In the beginning I wasnt upset or bothered by the absence for mental health because I understand and also this is your Patreon/channel you do what you want. However lately I have become frustrated by the frequency of changes or disappearances etc. I agree its like everyone says only promise what you can promise. The most annoying thing is people starting shows or variety or w/e and not sticking with them. Youre biting off way more then you can chew which wouldnt be an issue if ppl weren't paying. Ive been following you for a while and really enjoy watching content with you, hearing your feedback and some cultural explanations but we all understand if you cant do this forever. Make a decision on whats important and realistic for you, if you lose patrons thats just what it is. Things become frustrating if Dramas and such are moved to quite expensive tiers...but theres no consistency, no commitments nothing it becomes like what are we paying for then?

terry mwangi

As someone mentioned earlier, PD, you have grown into a highly influencial content creator! You are no longer a small channel and are growing more everyday... I feel as though this stuff really should be treated as a business and not just a hobby anymore. theres gotta be a layout, ground rules, regulations, all those sorts of things involved in business planning as you most likely know already, so we dont need you to wing it anymore! We want you to make a business plan that works for you! People need hours to rest and recoup just as much as work.

Noem

Obviously it has to be hard considering how big the patreon is, and definitely I think you might need a full month off to rethink everything about this patreon, so as much as it's not what people want, I think you need to. You need to figure out how to reduce content, make a good schedule that works for you, and obviously make a permanent change starting in April as you will start your life in Korea. You had an hiatus in August and I think it went well although I'm not sure on your end. I think you should take another one for March and figure things out. I'm sure it's easier to say and do, especially no one can figure everything out in a month, but at this point, I'm just scared you'll overwork yourself when you just said you don't want to because it's killing you. Please take care PD!

Brennan

Take care of yourself first and foremost, PD! I am supporting you as much as I can as a college student, and I respect any decision you make for yourself. I love the idea of you moving to Korea for your splendid dream, but before you do you should get things straight with this Patreon and rethink how to run it to also benefit financially. Fighting!

R875d

Everything gonna be alright.. You are already on your way to balancing your work and life. Soon you will reach that stage where work will not be a burden to you, and you will have a fixed monthly income. Everything will be fine. Thank you wishing the best for u and your team

Irieezy.

I really think you should just take March off and refocus and replan your content, PD. Just finish this month off strong since it was already in the schedule and take a month off. I'm here for the drama club/anime club content but I definitely understand the stress of your workload. I hope you have a smooth transition to Korea and stay healthy!

jennptx

As someone who listens mainly to a handful of groups, tries to generally keep up with the K-Pop scene, and is just starting to get into dramas, I have been getting so much value for the amount I've been paying. You put out more content and have a bigger back catalog of things I can watch than the only other Patreon I subscribe to that has similar tiers. I do pay less for some other Patreons, but those are ones who focus almost exclusively on one group. I know everyone's circumstances and expectations are different, and that some people may love groups that don't have as many reactors out there who give their artists the love and care that you do. Just wanted to say that I appreciate yours and Blair's hard work, and I can't imagine trying to navigate any of this! Also, I appreciate all the patrons here who love music, artists, and art are willing to pay content creators to keep doing what they love.

Vish

PD , I hope you keep your mental health as your top priority. Also you are not obligated to keep us happy. It is true that your reactions are something that gives me some happiness, I pay 20$ a month for it, if you decide to stop reacting I will just find something else to entertain myself ,I'm sure most of the people here feel the same. You have great knowledge which is why I love your reactions but u are repeatedly failing with managing your platform. I hope from this experience you understood that what you are offering is a service. A service that we all are paying for, as much as you want the people here to understand and support you, we still don't know you personally. I think your filming schedule is toxic, it's too much.you are probably most subscribed Patreon when it comes to kpop reactions. You have these many Patreons for mainly 2 reasons 1. You react to a wide variety of stuff 2. You know what you talk about and are informative unlike most of the reactors who just fangirl/boy over idols. You also need to understand as much as your information is the selling point of this Patreon, the idols are as well. As much as people like u here they still won't watch the content of the idols they don't stan, so once you stop reacting to the idols who they don't stan or follow they will unsubscribe. Again I want to stress that the selling point here is still the idols or dramas or anime. You can literally see how some reactors have millions of followers in YouTube just for fangirling over idols without giving out any information because people love watching other people like the idols they stan( the whole reaction industry feeds on that stuff). My suggestion is to cut down on reacting content even if you lose your subscribers. The most reactors I know does Patreon/youtube as a hobby but your Patreon is your source of income which is why you are able to release so much of content. I suggest you to focus more on building your main job by arranging the finance yourself instead of depending on Patreon, even if that needs you to stop doing reactions. u will regret it if you don't try anything because you feel obligated to satisfy us. Please follow your dreams.

Amelia Pérez

Please take care of yourself first, everything will come out on your favor!💗

soel

Totally agree with all of what you said! Keeping your mental health and happiness as a priority is extremely important. I do believe that the majority of us want that for you as well. I think the main thing that upsets people is not what kind of content you plan to do but making a plan and then suddenly changing it or not following through with it as many people sign up for specific things are that are already promised. We all sign up because we really like your commentary, insight, ideas and just you as a person so it isn't really anything against you but just frustration because many people pay for something that we suddenly are not sure we will end up receiving anymore. Reducing your content or the amount of groups you focus on is actually a very great idea especially if it helps you become happier and have better mental health. I'm sure that the content you put out while feeling happier in general turns out much better as well so that's another win for all of us too haha. It's just always nice to know that we can trust that the plan you put forward is close to what will end up actually happening :) I always appreciate your updates and honesty with us and changes are of course super normal, it's not possible for everything to always go perfectly. Always wishing the best for you!! I saw that some of the comments you received were a little harsh and I think that some people might've taken it too far but at the same time these are people that really enjoy your content and are a little frustrated at the constant and sudden changes. In the end, I really do love your content so much and it brings me a ton of joy but I also hope you don't feel burdened by this. You bring us so much happiness through your videos but it is not your job to do this. Your new plan sounds super great and much better for you and everyone going forward so I just hope that you can make the content that you want, focusing on the groups that you like the most while keeping us updated and being realistic about what the schedule is. That way we can all be happy. Thank you so much for all that you do!! I just really wanted to emphasize that while you do bring us so much joy, I really hope you don't feel burdened to always be that source of joy for us because that is a lot of pressure. I think just by doing the things that you like and putting out what you enjoy most, you will naturally bring a lot of happiness to many people. Sorry for the super long comment hahaha.

PD, you might be feeling frazzled and a bit overwhelmed with everything but I just want you to know everything will be okay. I’ve been somewhat tough on you in the last post’s comments but it does genuinely come from a place of wanting to see you be at your best. I guess I get frustrated when I see you let others done because I know that’s not you, you’re self-assured, hard working and super resilient and those are all the reasons why you’re still making this Patreon thing work, and I have so much respect for that perseverance. I hope you, Blaire and the team are able to find a system that works and that you can protect the health of your minds first and foremost through all of these stressful situations. Just know everyone is riding for you and that the criticism you face is not an attempt to tear you down, but rather honest unfiltered feelings. Wishing you all the best for your future but most importantly your “now”. You and the team have got this!

archie :D

also unrelated but brave girls just disbanded and now i’m sad

ian

Life happens and we should never have to jeopardize our own well-being to satisfy others, so hopefully the perfect balance will be found. Your feelings and our feelings have all been valid, and no one should be made to feel otherwise. We're all here supporting for a reason and it's because you provide us something special, so a lot of the frustration is because we know what could and should be. At the end of the day, I hope you're able to know that our frustrations are never towards you but the unfulfilled promises that arise. If you haven't heard it recently, I believe in you, not just with figuring out all that's going on with Patreon, but in life as a whole.

they didn't disband they all left brave ent, no mention of disbandment

Well said PD. Do what to want to do! We really appreciate the time and effort U and blair put to create all the content. We can be picky and only watch what we are interested in depending on our moods, but U guys have to follow on the promised schedule and maybe even force urselves to react to somethings that may or maynot be ur cup of tea. And spending soooo many hours watching and creating videos after video must take out a lot of energy and will power. We REALLY RESPECT THAT COMMITMENT.👏👏👏 U guys also have ur own personal lives and have other things to do too, and we understand that. also i have always thought that PD does give us not only goood quality content but also a huge amount of it. I APPRECIATE that because from all the patreon content creators i have followed so far i have not seen such a vast amount of content being put out and often times the quality isnt what i signed up for and they also do go back on their promises. This is why PDs "FORM OF THERAPY" have always been the one i come back to and even when i left due to financial inconveniences i still would return here as soon as i could efford it. So to sum it up, I THANK YOU for ur hardwork. I have no plans of unsubscribing yet, but even if i do it would mainly be because of financial issues as long as PD still do create some amount of content.

Sandra l.

Like I read previously you do put a lot of content out there but no more than other creators. You're playing catch up on things that people already reacted to for the most parts so it seems at the moment that you are releasing a lot of content, which is the case but that because there was some time we're you were not releasing muxh so you're trying to catch up on that... a lot of reactors are posting a couple videos per day on YouTube plus a couple on patreon. When there is a comeback of a group they like they react to the livestages, listen to the album... they have livestreams at least twice a week, they have a request tier on patreon where people can request one or 2 videos per month and it will be reacted to in the following month. Not mentioning the reality stuff, it's usually reacted a couple day after it airs... It's a full time job and it needs to be treated like it.

Sandra l.

The point of this wasn't to be rude though it's just that I think maybe you should finish some of the thongs you started before adding new things to your plate. Especially with the dramas... all of us are dead has been going on for a while now but instead of finishing it and moving on do another drama you start new dramas to the point where we get one episode per month of each drama, and sometimes you will forget things that happened cause it's been a while. Maybe one drama at a time would be easier and same you time?

Hi! I've been here since Road To Kingdom so it's been about 2 years and a ahalf. I remember back then there was no schedule and you chose videos according to suggestions, sometimes watched a variety show if you liked it, and did livestreams which in all honesty were what I enjoyed the most. I've always loved your MV and livestages reactions and the livestreams gave smaller groups time to shine Of course nothing was planned and that might have been annoying for some but the groups that you reacted to were much more diverse than now so you could always find something to watch or discover new groups with you ! I've been sticking around mostly for Seventeen and Treasure but I'm not even watching Going Seventeen anymore... When you started reacting to Run BTS I knew it would take you so much time to catch up that smaller groups such as Ateez or The boyz or even P1harmony would never get their chance... I honestly miss the time when suggestions meant something and every group had a fair chance. Because I really love knowing what you thinks of new groups I suggested watching this and that MV but I've come to realize you're never gonna watch them ... I do still hope you will give TAN a chance. I do am sorry but I will be unsubscribing soon. I keep delaying it because I want to support you and because I really had some fun times here but I really don't know what I am paying for anymore... Of course, I'll keep following your YT stuff ! Thank you so much and I really hope you get to do what you love in the future, your projects are dope !

Hi PD! I haven't been commenting on this whole thing but I've been observing for a while on how you handle this patreon and I think more than anything, what you lack is structure.

Mic ☆

Don't loose faith in some of the techniques or tools you are using to better understand depression. Your confidence and passion for what you do is a light that can grow and brighten 🌤 you DO believe in yourself and that is a huge advantage to your current & future health. Don't skimp on what your heart desires ♡ if Korea is a large part of your plans, then maybe you are on to something as to finding harmony with your missions and life goals.

Marta

Hi PD! I've just requested the refund

daniel

please dont worry! just expecting a final post before next month where everything is stated clearly :)

Tania

Thank you for sharing this PD! I appreciate your honesty with this and I do want to continue supporting you but just with the information provided, I will be requesting a refund. I have been honestly looking to unsubscribe or pause my payment at some point because I was just not watching as much content from you here. Over the past months I noticed that the content/ reaction has consisted of the same groups. Mostly some of the bigger groups like for example most reactions have been of Hybe Label groups who are very popular. And as much as I enjoy watching BTS and Seventeen I miss the variety we used to have in reactions. I discovered so many new groups through you and fell in love with those smaller groups through your reactions. And I miss u taking our requests on things. I have been hoping for the Boyz, or ateez or sf9 reactions for a while because I know in the past you said you wound check out more of their content. But that just never happened and I realized it probably won’t anytime soon with all the content you’re already covering. I absolutely respect your decision to also only react to things you enjoy and want to see and I’m trying to do the same here. I have seriously enjoyed all the content you’ve put out and discovering the world of K-pop and variety shows with u. But at this time I think I’ll have to leave my Patronage. I hope to see your future projects and work once u have it out! And hope the move to Korea is good for u both mentally and physically. I hope you continue doing what makes u happy

2023-02-16 23:58:32 can someone let me know if getting a refund means we won't get access toany of the content released this month anymore or not? i mainly subbed this month cause of boys planet and cravity park (which pd said they were going to cover in feb but i guess forgot), and am not sure if i should request a refund and come back another month once the bp eps have been for sure uploaded :/

Hi! Your content is really wholesome and im rlly thankful for it but what would the refund entail? Does that mean apart from the thursday content, the rest of the schedules gonna change? Or continue onto next month? Thanks 🫶

Kim Dang

I think the refund is for people who sent money through Paypal to fund PD's project pitches in a previous post. Someone feel free to correct me!

h

ah ok thank you that makes sense!

Kim Dang

Hi, I think the refund is for people who sent money through Paypal to fund PD's project pitches in a previous post. PD says he will be going to Korea in March so I think reactions for February will be what's on the schedule and there won't be much in March since he will be busy. Please fact check me though!
