I think people are getting confused about the songs lol the slow sad song is Still Fighting It by Lee Chan Sol. Sammy sings the intro song (where the cool art is) called You Make Me Go Back Also yes the hair never changes lol. Park Seojoon said in an interviews he had to get a haircut every 4 days for 6 months to make it look consistent.

Thank you for the reaction PD! Just wanted to mention that the origin of Halloween that they described is actually pretty accurate. Halloween originated from a Celtic festival called Samhain where people would light bonfires and wear costumes to scare off spirits. Immigrants brought it to the US and it eventually became what it is today. Even Jack O'Lanterns came from an old Irish myth and were originally to ward off evil spirits. Day of the Dead that you mention is actually a separate holiday that is meant to celebrate the dead rather than scare them off like Halloween is.

Well I dont wanna spoil anything about character development or anything but personally I hated her since the beginning and till the end, but that's just me idk about other people and how they feel about her after the time jump

Connor (Cyndr)

I'm a little lenient on Sooah's character cause I'm very biased for Kwon Nara as an actress, but it's really interesting seeing other peoples' takes on her character. I definitely really like how consistent both Sooah and Seroyi are in their traits and choices, and I like the contrast between the two morally. Can't wait to see what y'all think of the next few episodes and how things develop!

honestly even tho i hate the things she does i get why she does them, there was things that she did or about her that i did like but at the end even tho i didnt hate her anymore i still didnt like her enterily either because the fact that shes super selfish and doesnt care about anyone else even saeroyi still doesnt change

I believe the opening of their animation is inspired by the fact that this story was originally from a Webtoon. Surprisingly, park saeroy's character looks similar to the Webtoon character he's portraying.

Not me rewatching episode 4 for PD LMFAO 💀💀💀

I actually love the fact that they made Saeroyi's haircut consistent through time. I feel like it stands to show how despite time passing by he doesn't change. He has a very clear goal in mind and nothing will stop him from persuing it and nothing will change his values and morals. Despite all the shit he goes through, he never changes and always remains the same, just like his haircut.

Anyone know how to watch 'vimeo' videos? Cause I cant watch these videos. Maybe someone can help me :D

formoftherapy

I assume you live in Southeast Asia? For some reason Vimeo is blocked there. I would suggest using a free VPN, which will allow you to change the server of your internet to make it seem like you live elsewhere. Just Google a free vpn service!

Dylan

I wanna watch more into it, but I really wanna wait until you post the next episode! The struggle this next week is gonna be :(

I’m starting this for the first time as well so I only know as much as ep.2 but I went through the same thought process. If she’s in the job to get into the company to tear it down from the inside then I totally understand why she took it, if it was for her own financial gain and that's not what her plan is then she's an asshole. You brought up that you think when she took the job she probably didn't have the idea of dismantling the company but in the jail scene when Saeroyi brings up that he wants to open a restaurant she asks if it's for revenge, meaning that she's at least thinking about that sort of thing. So maybe she did take the job with that being her main goal. (Or I'm just looking too deep into things.) Definitely looking forward to ep.3!! And thanks as always PD.

I don't love Sooah's character (but tbh I don't rlly like most of the characters) but I understand why she did the things that she did. As someone who has been in the orphanage as well, you really have no guidance. You're raised with the mindset of independence and you kind of have to do what you have to do to stay ahead. As previously mentioned, you don't really have any guidance or someone to model after. Sure Sooah had the father for a little while, but nobody consistent. So when she took the bribe as a kid and the evil old man ( i cant remember his name) continued to show that consistency in her life and stayed by her, it was really her first consistent caregiver/father type figure in her life. Which is why i'm sure he has manipulated his characteristics into her persona as well, granted he took her under his wing in some of Sooah's most pivotal years of development. Again, not a fan of the person she projects but I think we can give her some benefit of the doubt.

I'm a little late to this but I'm really enjoying reading a lot of people's opinions on why they didnt enjoy the show/characters, mostly because I think not liking the characters is a LOT of the reason that I did actually enjoy the show? They're all relatively fucked up and make some Very questionable choices, and it, to me at least, makes them feel a lot more real? Really expressing the flaws and shortcomings of each character doesn't make them Good characters but it makes them more human

finally, someone else that shares my same opinion. that's exactly why I loved the show as well. the characters just felt real. Even the character development is handled in such a way that its believable and not this whole "this person has learned everything in a day because of this thing that happened and is now completely normal" thing that a lot of shows tend to do with character development. it's more real life like and believable. but some people hated the show for that very reason like "i hate yiseo and she doesn't deserve anything because all of her problems were not corrected" even though a lot of her problems were indeed called out and corrected. it just seems more real to me at least that way and I appreciated that aspect of it.

Yelena

ngl i hate the part where she asks why he asked for her number like he's in jail and you asking a self-satisfactory question

Yelena

okay but like hes a clown because he still loves her 💀

Yelena

Okay i know why I hate her now. okay so like she consistently pretends or like throwss this half ass apologies and she may be guilty but its more to satisfy her guilt than being sorry

Lecia

Ummm ion know bout you but that’s what I was told what Halloween was she got it right. We dress up so evil sprits are ward off. Did you ever realize that every Halloween scary movie the main characters aren’t in costumes.
