I'm glad that you're feeling better!

I'm definitely in the same boat about both the song and the music video. The song is so catchy and fun to bop to, especially since its just a tiny bit more upbeat than Boom Boom! But because the structure is so ridiculously similar, down to the order and timing of parts for each of the member, its really difficult not to see it as a recreation. I do love listening to it though

The rap break flow is the same as ‘This is America’ by Childish Gambino

I totally agree on the song and MV not matching. I love the song and hate the MV. But they also kind of shot themselves in the foot with their international audience with the MV. I know you didn’t want to go into it, but there were a good number of comments from Latinx and Egyptian fans saying “my culture is not a costume” because truly they were lazy and didn’t do them right. Had they put effort into getting the costuming and set right, it could have been fine but they totally went for Halloween store culture costumes for those 2 and it didn’t sit well. Overall I actually kind of feel bad for the girls because they tried but they were given a poor product and it didn’t do nearly as well.
