Back in business. 

After a terrible odyssey with three different motherboard brands, a loss of some hardware and re-buying, shed blood, sweat and tears and a lot of pain, I now have a complete new computer. It wasn't planned, it just happened. The latest now is not as fast as the one before, but it's usable and faster that the one that went broken more than a month ago. All motherboards were the newest generation, not more than for a year on market, but they all have something in common: Trouble with USB 3 when using an USB hub, no matter if with or without power supply. Unusable. Seems they all have got the USB parts from the same manufacturer. But my PC mouse runs fine now, it's still USB 2.0, other motherboards even couldn't manage that, and the hub works with USB 2.0 as well, just much slower.
