Summer Picture started... but... (Patreon)

Burning heat outside, so it's time to start the annual summer picture again. So I thought and after days of trouble with my PC, the new motherboard was working, I started with this work and haven't even a name for that file. But the joy was only short. The motherboard has some temporary and sporadic issues with USB. This error is independent from any OS, because it happens even when working in the BIOS. The PC mouse has temporary dropouts, around 0.5 up to 3 seconds long. I can't connect my external backup drive via USB hub, the system doesn't recognize the drive, it must be connected directly. It seems as if this motherboard is defective. And of course the weekend will delay any reaction of the dealer, there surely won't come any answer before noon next Monday. No clue how long it will take until this new problem is solved. Must carry on to work with the tiny laptop during the time another motherboard is on the way, in case the dealer hasn't another solution. And yes, I've tried all possible setting in the BIOS, and there is no IOMMU setting possible anymore. And the BIOS is the latest.
