Hypnosis can bring out some very intense emotions. Are these emotions a product of the hypnosis? Or are these emotions there, but in your subconscious? Well, it could be either one.

Hypnosis creates a deep sense of relaxation. This is one of the goals of an induction, and partly why some people need a longer induction. It can take longer to relax for some people. Once in a relaxed state, it is easier to really feel your emotions. You're not distracted away from them by other thoughts.

According to Cognitive Therapy by Assen Alladin, "Hypnosis induces deep relaxation ... Once they close their eyes and relax ... individuals become more aware of their thoughts and feelings."

Wearing diapers can already feel good, but when you are in under hypnosis, the good feelings become more intense. It could be: feelings of being little and silly, feelings of being blushy and embarrassed (and enjoying it) or just the loss of control. You feel these intense emotions more strongly.

In a waking state, it's easy to be distracted from an experience. We have a lot of thoughts circulating in our minds that keep us from experiencing something fully. I find this even when I take a bath. If I'm stressed out and lost in thought it's harder for me to really enjoy the warmth of the bath than when I'm relaxed or meditative.

In his book, Alladin continues "hypnosis also reduces distraction and maximizes the ability to concentrate". Hypnosis can help you help you concentrate on the emotions that you feel. As a result they become more intense.

The emotions might be a result of the hypnosis, like a trigger that causes you to feel embarrassed, or a fantasy that you really enjoy. The emotions may already be there - like if you're diapered up before hypnosis, and then listen to a hypnosis file. As you listen you become more and more aware of how the diaper makes you feel. How cushy it is, and how happy and safe you feel when you diapered. Once you let your mind focus on your experience, you experience it more deeply.  Hypnosis is like a mental elixir for experiencing the full power of emotions.
