The reason why Loki is more serious than Mobius is because of what Loki has seen. Mobius didn't met He Who Remains. He didn't get a visual explanation of what is gonna happen with all the Kangs and about the multi war. Loki is the only one who knows the full extent of HeWhoRemains death. The situation has no room for fun Loki. There's too much at stake now. Besides that we've seen some of the old Loki, charming Loki in episode 2 (the chase scene, the interrogation scenes) and 3 (the interaction with the big guy and a bit in the conversation with Victor Timely). So, I don't really understand the complaining.

I'm hella late, but man this episode just gave my brain a hemorrhage 😅 I'm not sure I agree with the Loki stuff. Like yeah, fun, mischievous Loki is great, but thats just not who this one is anymore. They have fun with him in moments, but the things he's seen has opened his eyes to the literal Multiverse. So I'd agree with the other commentor who mentioned that. The stakes are far too high for Loki to be like that I feel, not in a writing sense, but for his character, I think taking things more seriously is something he'd have to do out of necessity. I mean, they kind of give you a mirror example with how Thor became more serious after his journey. Loki has become changed by these events, it's not a weakness, it's just the circumstances. On a grand scale, I think there's ways Marvel can give us *that Loki again, but this particular Variant of Loki is definitely not the one to give it to us. At least, not until the crisis is over with the TVA. Maybe after if he somehow does become the next He Who Remains. But part of Lokis mischief is him being a villain, and this Loki just doesn't fit the villain bill anymore. I think the energy may have killed them, cause O.B. said what that energy would do with Mobius. Maybe they go the Loki Variant route, or yeah they just have that collision take them somewhere or sometime instead of killing them.
