10/10 for me. Easily could have seemed like a good Dr Who episode but it elevated itself with that constant drum beat throughout and the chicago fair felt rich and lively. I did not see any CGI other than miss minutes(which i loved). So good. To reply to Gregs take, I hear you. Its not like you hated the episode i mean 8.9 is excellent. I would argue the only time you do make Loki not the focus of the episode would be when there is a franchise sized Kang to re introduce. style perference thats all.

I sometimes feel that people who make film critique a career lose touch with the experience of the general population. Certain people's opinions seem pretentious and honestly detracts from the shared joy of watching something together. However, I've realized that I can stop watching after the reaction and still have a positive experience.

I feel what you mean, but i am more interested in honest takes and I am sure you know this but when you get that truly, you get critical words. It would decrease the value if everything got a pass. so I take both as part of the fun. even if in the immediacy it might feel a bit awkward.
