After hitting well over a billion dollars in the theaters, we finally watch this flick! Obviously, both John & myself have grown up on Mario so let's see how many easter eggs we miss cause you know we aren't great at that lol

I actually totally agree that this movie is pretty surface level as far as story telling. I think the animation and the music were by far the best parts of it! I could see kids really enjoying this, but as an adult who grew up on the Mario Bros, this did leave me wanting on the story end. Also, definitely would have loved more Mario and Luigi together. :) This was fun to watch along with you guys again though!

How is the audio out of sync with what I'm watching? I start it at the same time and I have to keep adjusting as the movie is goes on

Hey, just wanted to let you guys know that every time you would bring the sound up, you would be around 10 seconds ahead, even when I kept on readjusting and caught up, otherwise, great reaction!

Yay! I've been dying to see your reaction! Your ear to ear grins at the beginning were everything 😁 This was so fun! I was living for your enthusiasm throughout. Agreed, the action visuals are stunning and the score was amazing! I just want you to know that your sacrifice of not seeing this on the big screen and waiting to react does not go unnoticed! I live far from family but I got to visit my sister when this came out and we saw it in theaters with my little nephew. He loved it! He was so excited and literally laughing out loud, it was the cutest thing 🥰 Loved the rainbow road scene. And we were all singing Peaches on the way home 🍑🤘🏻😆 Jack Black was just fantastic! His Peaches music video, complete with a peach piano, is silly and wonderful haha. But all that said, I definitely understand the story telling criticism and I'm right there with ya, it had the potential for so much more. Great reaction guys! Much love!

I took my younger kids and grandkids to see this in a really nice big theater and it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.
