Soooo with the Doctor Who series 5 DVD came a few extras that now come under the category of "minisodes". This particular short clip takes place after "Flesh and Stone" (yes, the one that Rosie mentioned) but before the next episode. Doesn't add much to the overall story arc but it is fun. Wow, I never noticed the haircut before!

Personally, I believe we shouldn't have seen the Angels move in this episode.

Likewise it’s something I really don’t like, I kinda understand why they did it but at the same time it takes so much out of the scare factor when you can see them move and I liked the fact the audience was involved via the quantum lock.

Reuben Davies

Well they were still quantum locked, they moved slowly because their instincts weren't sure if they could be seen, we've never seen one of the angels outside of its lock, because it was said they turn into stone and are fast so they aren't actually made of stone. Hence I don't really mind they showed it because it still leaves mystery as to what the angels actually look like

Rosie Batey(DarthYoda066)

Which as I say I understand why they did it and I get their reasoning as you’ve stated above, it’s just for me personally I would have preferred it if they hadn’t done it as to me it’s a lot scarier when they aren’t shown to be moving and in doing so in this episode particularly they lose some of that fear factor as a result on rewatch whereas if they hadn’t shown them move I don’t think that would be the case or at the least it wouldn’t be as much of the case.

I honestly find that last scene with Amy and the Doctor so uncomfortable to watch. 😬 But otherwise I really like this two-parter! Love seeing River, and I really enjoy her out-of-sync relationship with the Doctor. I remember Steven Moffat saying the intent was that this isn't the first time he's met her since the Library, that there have been a few other adventures since then. I think the Big Finish audios have covered some of those, and I really should seek them out 😆 Seeing the angels move diminishes them a bit for me too, I kinda wish they'd left it as it was. But, ah well. They still scare me! There was a moment in this ep that confused me when I saw it first, because it felt like an odd continuity thing. I don't think you guys really mentioned it, but I'm curious if you will remember it later. So glad you're enjoying Matt Smith's Doctor! He's so good in this role, and he only gets better!

Sharon Owen

I think even Moffat agrees he shouldn't have that ending where Amy came onto him!

Kalob Lowrance

Up to this point in the series, it is one of my favorite two partners. Can see where yall are coming from with the criticisms, but I love these episodes. 8/10

Anna

I love watching you both but it's honestly super uncomfortable to hear you sexualize the Doctor so much. I know you're joking but it's really unnerving to hear, especially with 11 who's the most asexual of the bunch.
