Hello friends!

I know, it's been a little quiet this month. I've been working super hard to finally, *finally* switch my workflow out of Daz Studio, and start making use of all these tools I've had access to. For the past several weeks, I've been grinding away at tutorials trying to learn iClone and Unreal Engine, and use them together to produce more content. Becoming less reliant on Daz opens up my exponentially on making more, and a larger variety of content, such as what I'd like to show you today!

The above video was made from assets and characters purchased or sourced from lots of places. It's the first time I've acquired a third party asset, animated it in one software, then set the scene, cameras, and rendered it in a different software. I've been wanting to try some more light-hearted stuff and explore some fantasy stuff, so this is also a fun little piece, mostly about a Shaman girl who got shrunken, and now finds herself scrambling around at the feet of her friends.

Please, please understand that this is only testing. I have not gotten into facial animations, there are numerous issues with characters not quite being fully on the ground, animations shifting at bad times just...lots of troubleshooting. Oh, and don't get me *started* on the hair physics... but I'm pretty proud to have learned as much as I have in less than a month - remember, I have a full time job too :P Putting all of this together cost a pretty penny, and I only have you all to thank for that.

So check this out! Would you like to see more in this genre? (I mean, it's gonna happen to some degree, these models weren't cheap...). Would anyone be interested in another post just explaining the new animation pipeline I've developed? I know a few of you are tech nerds like I am!

Now that I've released this little project, I'm gonna try to release the rest of the SEARG stuff soon. I just really, really wanted to get this going to make preparations for using this pipeline going forward. Thanks for your patience!

for just a test animation this was pretty phenomenal. i can’t wait to see what a fully polished product will look like if a “test” looks this good.

Unreal engine has come so far. I've heard that some studios use it for making movies. What a time we are living
