This is a super short animation of a normal sized Zelda nearly stepping on a shrunken clone of herself!

I decided to jump back into Blender and do some animation practice! I know I don't do this nearly often enough to make consistent progress towards this being a regular offering, but I'm going to try to do this more often, still no promises of regular animated content though, sorry :(

However, I did find a good way to get some pretty decent, if short animations! I purchased this Zelda model a long, long time ago. I also found out that Adobe's Mixamo offers some limited rigging and animation for custom characters, so I pulled the Zelda figure in, used a few of their pre-keyframed animations, and after some tweaking, here we go! This took about 2 hours from setup to exporting the render, and its only about 2 - 3 seconds, but I'm happy with it. I'll try some longer stuff at some point in the future, but this is at least enough to keep me practicing to do my own animation. I used a the Zelda model twice because my Link model has a sword and shield, which does not follow the rig very well, and ends up looking really weird.

Finally, because Youtube ALWAYS takes down everything I upload (*grumble grumble*) I had to upload to DailyMotion, and put a password on it. If it asks you for a password, it's "Zelda". Since Patreon only integrates with Vimeo (who isn't free to use for the features I need...) and it won't recognize the DailyMotion video URL, I had to just post a link. Hopefully this whole process will get smoothed out before I start doing longer animations.

Hope you enjoy!
