Me and Comics (Patreon)

 It's been taking me a while to get around to making this cause I'd  somehow wouldn't have the energy to when I feel the need to do this. But  I figured I'd explain things about the comics, and what I plan to  hopefully do with them!
 

I won't get into some big deep recipe-ass level of backstory, but I grew  up around a lot of comics and manga (Bone and Calvin/Hobbes books being  an absolute fave and big influences of mine) and it played a huge role  in my childhood for wanting to do comics. Problem is I lacked the  stamina to do it at the time and, on top of biting off more than I can  chew, eventually would scrap projects cause I would make them too big to  do on top of other projects, or I set myself to unreasonable standards  that, when I wouldn't be able to meet them, felt overwhelmed and would  shut things down. I've only done one completed comic project and that  was for a raffle done in late 2018 that I meant to do back in November  of 2017. I haven't done one since up until the mock comic page featuring  Toriel. I wanted to do a full comic with it but I didn't want to make  it some 35 page project. I just want something short to test my stamina.  There was one that would have been posted that I did before but I opted  out cause one of the characters belongs to someone that, for sake of  not wishing to associate with any further unless they do better as a  person, caused me to delete the comic.
 

Which leads me to what I want to do with comics now. I'll be doing some  mock comic pages for fun but I also do wish to do some comic projects.  Leading me to want to use my Patreon to do more comic-related content.  The reason I've done so much illustrations and LoFi HipHop content is  boiled down to three reasons. 1) I get sidetracked very easily and with  me needing to take a break from overwhelming myself with comic projects,  this was an often occurence. 2) I felt that while I was doing these,  that they could play some role into doing comics at heart. 3) I just  didn't wish to solely box myself into doing just comics. I needed  something to spice things up and avoid burnout.
 

Why do I wish to use Patreon to do comic-related content? I wish to use  it so I can build myself off of doing a lot of comics and hopefully  offer a subscription service where I can make comics monthly for you all  to enjoy. From there I wish to branch out and make something of myself  and hopefully get some friends that are down to doing these types of  things so we can all eat off of what we love. What type of comics we'd  do would depend on if I reach it. Likely to be 18+ smut content or just  whatever goes. Though that'll be once I know I can get my stamina going  to where I can do these a lot more and often.
 

So I hope y'all can understand and I wish nothing but the best for me in my journeys. 

That being said, Petal Comic will be delayed until I actually get things more ironed out and my schedule is a lot less chaotic. lol
