Hey guys! Here's the diner scene in case you want to experiment or raid it for parts!

Right click save as:
Diner Scene

In terms of useage, I wanted to give some heads up- all the posters are from pictures I took at a local teriyaki/burger place, and while I usually gamble that this falls under fair use (there's no logos or anything in there- just good ol' pictures of food n' prices), I'll leave it up to you how you want to play it. The business cards I'd probably avoid (or keep subtle).

The wall texture is swapped out for something from textures.com. The original one was modified from a real estate listing. Would anyone ever notice? Not in a million years- buuuuut I don't want to go passing it around.

But yeah! The TV/table/chairs/salt/pepper/whatnot are all 100% scratch, so! Maybe they'll be useful for something!

I'll be uploading a screencapture of modeling the TV in a sec here.

Awesome, thank you so much!

Thanks, brother! You've inspired me and an indie band from New York to use your techniques to build visuals for their shows and music videos!

Thanks, Bud.

Thanks!

Oh awesome!!! I'd love to see some of the visualizations if it's ever convenient! :D

Thank you for this awesome scene! The static outside the window made me think of William Gibson's Neuromancer. "The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel". That in turn made me curious: do you have any main source of inspiration from books or movies when you create your worlds?

Please do me a HUGE favor man and upload an FBX. I'm a C4D guy and would REALLY appreciate it dude. Also, I would still love an FBX for the "small mechanical bits, books, head in a jar."

This is awesome thank you!

So, I don't want to cause any trouble, but why are there 300 soda cans in this file with rigid bodies physics -.^ Other than that, thanks for the asset! Dissecting it is like watching a tutorial in my brain.

IanHubert

OH HOT DAMN did those things show up again? hahaha, they're the worst. I've mostly figured it out by now- if a file lags like crazy for like the first 5 frames every time I try to play an animation... it's The Cans. I'll delete them and re-upload

Ian,I never asked. Whats your policy for all these assets when it comes to use them in our personal projects (ofc modifying them, not a copy and paste). Is that allowed ? like CC0 ?

Anonymous

Hello everyone! I am trying to download the asset but it seems "locked" (right-click, click, whatever thing I do doesn't download the file)... Is it still available? I would like to study the model :) thanks!

doing this way that's probably your browser bloq (saying that is dangerous to download) you have to accept every time, or, right click and copy the link and paste in a new tab, this way it'll work
