Character Lore | Salla Peg'asi (Patreon)

The younger sister of Fenris and Gabriel, Salla enjoyed growing up in her role as princess, knowing with two older brothers she would never have to take on the responsibility of the throne. She was close with her mother, Elena, the two of them sharing a strong bond.

At the age of fourteen, Salla's father, King Magnus, and his heir to the throne, Prince Gabriel, were suddenly and shockingly killed when their ship malfunctioned during a return trip from the Neso System. The throne was then left to the middle child, Fenris.

Both Salla and Elena left Seleota not long after the twins, Auberon and Ecko, had been born, and before Fenris married Nikolle. They ventured together to the planet of Tidal, in the Neso System, where Salla was to marry the prince and establish a relationship between Tidal and Goldis. 

Before leaving, Elena, Salla, and Fenris had a terrible argument. The two accused the King of being manipulated and blinded by Lucrezia and Uncle Auberon, assuring him that his rule would fail if he continued on the path he was on. Emotions were high after their departure, and Fenris refused to speak of them to anyone. The relationship between the three was broken.

Elena and Salla never returned to Goldis, though Fenris was aware of their activities, due to relations with the Neso System. Due to wounded pride on all sides, things were tense between the family for a long, long time.

Though they attempted to repair relationships later down the line, the same topics of debate continued to tear a bigger rift between them, until eventually, Fenris cut off all contact with his mother, sister, and Tidal.  

The royal children never knew of Elena and Salla's existence (Nerissa was too young to remember them, though she did discover more about them in later years). Queen Elena passed away years later, and Salla became a Queen in her own right of the planet Tidal, where she rules with her husband in peace.

Note: Being sovereign of her own planet means Salla would have no claim to the throne on Goldis (not that she would want it, she left that life behind her). Even if she wanted to make a move, she would not have the forces required to take control of the throne from Zovack. She is simply a character from Fenris's past, and will not appear in the future of Andromeda Six.
