Yup. I can't believe this is the same car that came to me a year and a half ago!

I am genuinely in awe at how stunningly gorgeous Alpina sits now. I was literally just standing in front of it and smiling from ear to ear in disbelief.

The boys from Gyeon absolutely perfected the paint. Yves, the fella from the pictures, is their main detailer, and the man is a walking vault filled with detailing knowledge. I thought I knew a lot about washing a car and paint correction, but I learned so much more from him.
He polished 90% of the car with a rotary machine and wool, which as some of you may know, is incredibly difficult to do and not burn through the clear coat. The result: removed every and all scratches for a true mirror finish! It just looks unbelievably good.

Then Stef, the other fella from the pictures, covered the entire front end with a self-healing paint protection film (PPF). Meaning, light scratches will simply disappear once you apply some heat on the PPF, and naturally, it'll protect the car from rock chips. The rest of the car is ceramic coated for long-lasting protection.

Most cars look better in pictures and video than in reality, but this one looks just as good in person, if not better. Matthias brought it back from Cologne in an enclosed trailer as the car needs to sit for 14 days inside for the coating to fully cure. The biggest issue I have now is keeping the dust off of it, haha.

The video is coming soonish. I still need to polish the window trim as we ran out of time in Cologne, refit the badges, refurbish the brakes, fit H&R wheel spacers (it needs them badly), and then it's ready for the final beauty shots.

Huge thank you to all of you for your support throughout this project. You should be just as proud as I am as it wouldn't be possible to get it to where it is now without your kind contribution. Enjoy the pictures for now until the video comes. Love you all!

Kudos to the paintwork. The detailer can only work with what he is given and what he was given is world class

That first shot shows the car looks so much like liquid that it's almost melting.............I've never seen a shine just like that. I bet it's simply unbelievable in person!
