V12 escapades continues!

I picked up this M73B54 V12 engine from a prototype E38 750hL a long time ago as a donor engine for E31. In this episode, we find out if it's any good and then take it apart.

I included some short clips in the beginning from BMW Group Archives about E38 750hL prototype as I personally find it rather fascinating and interesting. I'm not sure yet if I'll get hit with a copyright strike, but if I do, I'll simply cut that out before the video goes live.

I had so much fun in this episode playing with two V12s, haha. Hope you like it!

Btw, I was gone for about a week visiting family back home hence why it took a bit longer to finish this video.

Also, the new camcorder Panasonic HC-X20 went back. In the end, I wasn't satisfied with it as it needed constant tinkering to get the best out of it and it was creating more work in editing which I didn't want.
This time around, I went for Sony FX30, also 4k60 camera and it's immediately more friendly to use. I still need to fine-tune some things, mainly auto-focus, but I'm overall happy for now. This entire episode was filmed with FX30.

Right. As I post this, it's 3 am. Time to get some sleep and then back to wrenching. Have a great rest of the week, everyone!

Prototype Hydrogen BMW V12 Engine Teardown - E31 850i - Project Marseille: Part 6

Hydrogen-powered V12 engine. Fascinating thing. In this episode, we learn more about the prototype BMW 7 Series, E38 750hL that BMW made back in the 2000s. I stumbled upon one of these engines that appears to be very clean and very low mileage, so naturally, we take it apart. This engine is going to be the basis for our M73B54 OEM+ build for project Marseille, E31 850i 6-speed.
