If I were in his position, I'd hard pass on the speech. There is no way in hell I'd be standing up on stage giving a speech in front of ppl like that. And I'd never let ppl push me to do so. Few things about Japan. He was secretly trying to root for Yamada and Ichikawa in his own way as his confession failed.
