Dreadful combo. Social anxiety, performance anxiety, small crowd, and because of the small crowd you easily spot a person or two just walking out looking unimpressed af.

Bocchi popping off with the solo to raise morale gave me chills when I first watched this. That was such a good feeling, especially with the smooth transition into the song (which is probably my favorite song from Kessoku Band).

I love the attention to detail in this episode. The first song is noticeably off, their pre-song dialogue is incredibly awkward, they’re all looking down while playing, and Bocchi’s two fans were bobbing out of sync with either because the song was off. Small details to really give the impression that something is very off about this performance. Which then all is completely flipped when Bocchi throws out her solo, syncing up the entire band and giving them that confidence boost.
