This show was done by Cloverworks. Keep in mind this came out the same year they did SpyFamily & Dress Up Darling were released. Ask me, Bocchi was my fav amongst this collection.

The soundtrack for this show is ridiculously good. Every single song used, OP, EDs, and insert, is performed by the Kessoku Band the girls play in. The only exception is songs made for other bands. It results in a really fun album of solid J-Rock music, all in character. They even added a song pretty recently that isn't in the show at all, basically making it a band that exists outside the show too. It's far from the first anime to do this, as lots of music anime act like their characters are a real-life band, but it's a fun detail to mention. This show is overall very good though. I have a very small handful of anime I rank a 10/10 (currently 11) and Bocchi was the most recent addition to that list. Not because it's a flawless show, but because a 10/10 for me must do at least one thing better than anything else I've ever seen. It's got to be unrivaled in at least one aspect. For Bocchi that is creative animation choices and music animation. Bocchi's animation is incredible, both absurdist for gags and hyper-realistic for performances. Doesn't hurt that the characters and music are both very fun too.

Funny that we're going from 86 to this because Lena is the singer for the Bocchi songs, including the OP. She voices an upcoming character. I know you literally just posted a new series reaction, but I wait for the day you check out Shangri-la. Still airing, but so far, hell of a fun show that handles the video-game genre very well. Banger OP/EDs too.

FYI im pretty sure the director for this show is the same as Frieren, his work for this show deffo helped land him the job for adapting Frieren.
