Frederica and raiden both spit facts. shin just wants to die hes got a serious case of survivors guilt all his comrades leave him behind and die ahead of him and its something hes had to deal with for 5+ years and the one person he wanted to live on is presumably dead. he only has the title of reaper keeping him going and both raiden and Frederica are his bounds to reality right now trying to show him new meaning and that not everyone wants to chase death. "the reaper seeks no wants only has the need for death." just a little bar i came up with to top off my little analysis on shin and his mentality rn. i love this show.

Yeah, I liked the use of imagery when it focused on the railroad tracks being unobstructed when it should Raiden, then when it cut back to Shin, the tracks were blocked.
