This is definitely one of TsudaKen's BEST performances. The fact that his voice doesn't seem to fit the character's face at first is one of those reasons. I was definitely caught off guard with that when I first watched this, but he definitely puts in that work and brings the character to life. Definitely different from the types of characters he usually plays.

Yeah for sure, when he comes out of the Well how he ACTUALLY looks fits 100%, so it makes sense, his voice as Saikado definitely grew on me though.

Last thing: This is the series that got me hooked on MIYAVI. He does the ED song for this (which is one of the first ED songs I really got into), and a number of insert songs, including the one in this episode (which for some reason I totally forgot about, I only remember the other two).

For some reason, I always thought this was a show you had already reacted to, but I'm not complaining. I felt the ending of this show is a little bit weak, but it's still a crazy fun ride and most of it is very good. It definitely scratches that thriller itch that this season is sorely lacking, so I get that. Also, this show is filled to the brim with incredible Miyavi songs. There are so many moments when the show just goes "Fuck it, we're an AMV now". It kicks ass every single time. They got him for the ED, realized his music kicks ass, and then decided to throw in a bunch of his songs wherever they could in half the episodes.
