The song for the 2nd ED is a bit different. I think it's a response to the first ED but I can't understand japanese so this is just from the english at the start. In ED 1 it says something like "And are you alright? Can you hear me?", ED 2 starts with "And I'm alright. Yeah, I hear you." Then there's also some english at the end which is the same in both of them. It sounds something like "I'm whispering a lot of *something* for you to come back home".

Well...it's the same song anyway though. But what you said is correct as Millet created this song like call and response. In fact, I have heard many Japanese songs with similar approach as many people like that.

It's one to keep an eye on! The manga is really good, and the animation is by trigger. Only one ep in so far, but it's a good start. It may be this seasons sleeper hit
