im at the reaction part where theyre about to leave. Just to explain abit... The reason they're leaving is because they cant come back. Their mission is to continue still, not because of the Unit 1 mission. But to protect whoever else is gonna replace them. They wouldnt want an infight or a civil war happening between each other (the eighty-sixs') So instead the five of them chose to continue past the barrier. Past the comms that reach the 86th district. Basically they're stranded now. In theory... if they did come back, the alba leaders might plan to tell the 86 that replace them to kill the five of them, which ofc won't happen. So it might turn into a civil war between 86 and Alba WHILE a war is happening with the Legion. So basically it turns chaotic af. So instead they chose to leave the 86. Or the Five-Colored Flag Nation.

That transition from child Lena's slap to the mortar duds was wild. 86 has some of the best transitions (and symbolism) in any recent show that I've seen. Big props to the director! Crazy to think he only has a few shows under his belt.

Do you have your facts straight? They got the order to advance into Legion territory- Duration: Unlimited. Almost every Spearhead Squadron before them got that order, and that is the primary reason they went out of bounds.
