The culmination of hundreds of comedy and serious arcs together builds up to the greatest character dynamics I've ever seen. just to explain the slip arc since i noticed y’all still a little confused basically its a few comedy arcs that came before the shogun assassination arc in the manga but the animation team knew how excited everyone was for that arc so they did it early then went back to do the comedy arcs they missed before animating the final arcs so basically you guys watched it the way it was in the manga which is just serious arcs from saa to the finale

This is probably my single greatest moment in the shounen anime history. The plot twist, the reveal, everything come together in the most unexpected way imaginable. After years of watching that scene, I still have goosebumps every-time I rewatch this scene. What a series!!!

Isaboro is lowkey one of my faves just for how well foreshadowed everything is. It's crazy that the Harusame and Atlana were introduced way back in like episode 45 as welll, Sorachi really crazy
