Sorry for the possibly stupid question, but why are you skipping it? I’m actually watching Gintama (for the first time) side by side for the first time with y’all haha. Is there like a watch order or something and that’s why?

its because the events that is happening in these eps they gonna watch now happens actually before ep 300. so they watchin it first then start from 300

Not necessarily a watch order, but a lot of people were saying the serious arc for Gintama starts from 300-328 and then the episodes after the slip arc (329-342 I think?) are serious arcs to close it out. Basically it would be straight peak after we knock this arc out lol. In layman's terms.

When I first watched this, I was like is umibozu being racist or what lmao. But I was told these ppl weren’t black. They are ganguro which used to be fashion trend in japan where you had really dark tan and dyed hair
