6:29 She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an "L" on her forehead

It was good. It makes me rethink if Toga is a sociopath or if she's a victim of her own quirk. In the discord I question if some quirks are more handicap (mental or physical) than evolution.

EndeavorxGoat

Info here: Toga’s backstory was to show how she’s a victim of this superpowered society. Quirks are an extension of one’s self basically one’s quirk plays a major role into who you are and if you are unlucky enough to be born with a quirk like Toga’s then you’re fucked without the proper support. She was BORN addicted to blood. Growing up she found out who she really is wouldn’t be accepted in society as her parents told her she isn’t normal so she tried to suppress her true self and tried to fit in with the norm. But trying to suppress only made the urges stronger which is why in the episode it showed the mask breaking. She couldn’t control it anymore. And seeing how she didn’t have proper guidance and she wouldn’t be accepted no matter what she fled accepting what she truly is which she considers to be normal.

100%. Also in a society where not many quirks are like others how would someone even support that? She was literally screwed since birth. In a way most are. You can't tell me sugar rush isn't going to suffer from low blood sugar or even diabetes since it's obvious the quirk doesn't account for the host body. Eraser head runs the risk of going blind from dry eyes, Tsu is a frog. You don't go from hunched over monkey, to upright man, to frog and call that evolution. I never really noticed until toga today just how fucked most quirks are.

I don't remember what the point of the meta liberation army is. I mean it's not like meta humans are 2nd class citizens or slaves or anything, what exactly do they need liberation from?

zoltar

your putting too much into the universe you cant put absolute real world logic into it

zoltar

i thought the climax would be the movie but i guess the movie is random filler stuff? i hope it isnt the reason for the tame eps

Khansama

It may seem like criticism but it's just immersion. A story that makes you question the world of the story and wonder how it works is a sign of a good story.

To make it as short as possible since the anime is an embarrassment to the manga. The liberation of quirks so to speak and since quirks are extensions of one’s self then you can say the liberation of the everyday ppl. They haven’t went over it all yet in the anime but who cares I’ll give a little info. They believe ppl should be able to freely use their quirks and learn about them without the use of a hero license or without having to go to hero academias. Restricting one’s quirk is for control and it’s also restricts the everyday ppl of learning more about themselves. Restriction of normal citizens being able to freely use their quirks also makes them weak, sheltered and constantly putting all their responsibilities on heroes which is a BIG PROBLEM.

Khansama

Oh I kind of get that. Kind of a "it's a right not a privilege" mentality

Curious makes me curious about her anatomy. Hehehe.

I'm sorry but I am not enjoying season 5 at all. Should I pick up the manga?🤔

bondbond53

As much as I was okay with today's episode I just feel like the direction is quite uninspired for S5. I know and understand all the current issues of animators and I don't blame them one bit but I haven't felt inspired by the choices made this season at all. How was the Endeavour fight just last season? Anyways, read the manga peeps because Hori is on fire with his art and panelling
