I hate how they fucked up this anime cus now there will never be a s2 because the source material is really good like for 1 horikita isn’t as important as the anime makes her, she’s more of a unless back ground character so for what ever reason they decided to take all the important moments from other characters and give them to her is beyond me then a bunch of shit is out of place or skipped over...sorry for the rant but this anime could’ve been way better with a proper adaptation...it’s still a good watch tho

I would 100% recommend reading the light novel and starting from book 1 because there’s some minor and major details that they skip. IMO it’s one of the best light novels ever written and I’ve never been so hype about reading a story about a bunch of high schoolers🤣.

Taylor brings up some good points this time. As a person whos WELL tucked into their shell, I can believe the panick in her mind prevented her from thinking rationally. That's how it works for most people from what i understand. And its probably worse for girls i imagine. we also didnt see how they ended up there, so its quite possible it was as simple as sakura started entering an area where less people were around and didnt realize it (Her mind was focused more on getting away ofc) and the dude started speeding up once he realized he had an opening, making her panic even more. Also, if ayanokoji hadnt shown up, we were about to have an ugly bastard hentai scene on our hands, just throwing that out there. Regarding the cameras, I never actually noticed the cameras were never there, however I do think it makes simple sense that those three goons were entirely unaware of the fact those cameras had never been there before. Given their low status both as arc important characters and people in general, them just not knowing any better would fit their level of intelligence, bringing our clearly smarter characters ayanokoji and horikita out on top.

The reason the security camera gimmick worked was because in the light novel it wasn't Horikita (black hair main girl) with Ayanokoji. It was the other girl from Class B, therefore it was more believable to them. Being as popular and charismatic as she is and influencial as a student from a higher class, there's no reason for her to be helping Class D. Because she was there.. they were more willing to believe the claim, and Ayanokoji knew this. This is the problem with the anime. Giving important introduction roles for other important girls who will be important characters later... to Horikita to make her seem more important than she actually is. You know they fucked it up cos directly after this camera scene he's with the Class B girl when saving Sakura and Horikita is nowhere to be seen. Where did the class B girl come from? Its cos she was with him in the camera scene and came with him to save Sakura originally in the novels. Other than that not much changes to the episode but still its tragic. No season 2 cos they fucked up the anime adaptation.

Yeah I get that, it makes sense, obviously it's easy to say from the comfort of the couch what should be done in that situation lmao. But in regards to those guy's intellect, they have to have some level of intelligence being in class C. From what I understand of the anime so far, or at least from how the anime has been leading on, EVERY single classmate can be an advantage or disadvantage to the class. With that being said, I don't see how you could be stupid in an upper class without being expelled for underperforming academically.
