The author has said in interviews that Rachel is the female protagonist of the webtoon. She’s not a hero, but she isn’t a villain either. She’s also his favorite character.

Although she isn't as bad as that red haired bitch princess on shield hero but how much you wanna bet they gonna be articles hating on this series cause of how they portrayed a woman on here. You had one bitch on shield hero be a female that legit takes advantage of a man just like Rachel is doing here. So yea I would be surprised if there wasn't white knights and woke bitches coming for this series as well. The funny thing about shield hero is I think the author is a woman although I don't know the gender TOG creator.

Imo 1) that last moment was weak af, zero impact, mainly because of the webtoon ppl who kept hinting at shit and not keeping their mouths shut, 2) Yeah she's a bitch, but I still think there are worse characters in the history of anime. Imo it wasn't much of a betrayal, super weak impact, I felt nothing from it. Felt neutral about her in the first place, not much has changed, cuz I don't really care. Imo Myne from Shield Hero is a worse character. Yuri was the best thing about the episode. She was the highlight of the episode. Anything anyone else has done in this episode was overshadowed by her badassery.

the plot is kinda bad lmao ngl, simp lord and his mission to simp a girl to death no matter how many people or friends die in the process. It doesnt help that the show itself is very bland outside the fight scenes as most manhwa are, there is no background or life outside the fights as opposed to anime where you can feel the world and its inhabitants. Here you just see the fights and drama, nothing else

Now do u understand? If you have read a manhwa before, there are so little attention to the world or the backstory itself that even the artstyle is simplers and blander than an anime or a manga's. That's why they are able to put out more chapters of manhwa than a manga's

I'm actually wondering, as an anime only viewer, if she said that so he DOESN'T end up like her. Maybe she had already done some fuck shit before that we don't know about. She's too far gone, she's given up on herself, she's got w/e ambitions she's got and is too far to turn back, but this dude Bam doesn't have to go down that path and end up like her. Doesn't excuse what she did, but it's a thought. We'll see what the reason is next episode hopefully..... if they revealed it this episode it MIGHT have had more impact, hard to say with the spoilage that goes on, though.

You love using words incorrectly. Bam is not a simp. He's not in love with Rachel. She's his mother, and literally the foundation of his existence. Anyway. Also, none of his friends died because of this. Helping Bam with Rachel is benefitting them greatly. And Even if they did die this would be irrelevant as they're climbing the tower. Death is a common thing, and there usually wouldn't be an opportunity for someone to take the Administrator test because irregulars are hella fucking rare. Normally they'd be dying for way less. Not sure what your issue with drama is. Any sort of conflict is drama. So, basically, you want a fairy tale slice of life story....?

one thing you gotta give rachel is that shes the only one climbing the tower with zero powers or abilities. shes literally a normal human. shes climbing survivor style. though getting rid of bam here seems a bit premature. im not sure if only one person is allowed to climb to the top, if so then this is probably the only opportunity to get rid of bam for her.
