What a twist with this episode. BTW some weird issue happened with the audio where it would have some strange feedback whenever we talked starting around 8-ish minutes..Sorry about that.

This whole episode had me anxious and antsy. I wanted to be like "OH SHIT, EPIC" at the transformation, but I couldn't help but imagine if Clair had seen all that unfold. Mad props to her though for her conviction and resolve. I'm super nervous for the next episode. Also, when I was watching it myself, I literally said, "Fuck off" out loud to the guy right before Clair said it, as they were walking. XD But Shuichi and the girl definitely should've gone back to the hideout to regroup (while making sure they're not followed), and then gone back out with a squad. Clair piloting Shuichi, the girl, and that other dude. That would've been smarter, imo, but plot has to twist and thicken. Character conflict has to happen. Lol.

I feel like it was basically a fusion of two monsters. I don't think it would've worked with Clair. Also, the fusion basically fixed them, made them whole again, and then that carried over when they split. I'm sure if they were up against something closer to their size, they would've wrecked their shit (except for Elena). Or at least they would've done more damage. The fact that their enemy was so fucking huge, really lessened the impact of the transformation, they had to rely more on speed and agility, but inexperience kept them from fully utilizing that one advantage. Basically I think even though it sucks that this new transformation was a little underwhelming, I think the show is telling us that, yeah, even when that happened, they barely made a dent in basically the "kouhai" of that monster group. The dynamic seems like the other three are more powerful than that kid. They're on an entirely different level. Shuichi and Clair need to regroup, get their shit together, train a shit-ton. Or something.

the episode didn't really capture the moment like the manga did, and the manga isn't really that far ahead (atleast the translated one) so I don't know if they're saving up the budget for a big fight that happens after. there are some fights but, they didn't hit as hard as this one (manga) but the reveals of the story are pretty deep

Yeah that fight was meh. It was cool to see sweetcheeks not bed dead and half that new form with the furry but the first fight scene definitely looked better. Also, I guarantee Telescope's gonna angry nut to that video later.
