Mary Sue is actually a joke by the author. The definition of a Mary Sue is: “A Mary Sue is a generic name for any fictional character who is so competent or perfect that this appears absurd, even in the context of the fictional setting. Mary Sues are often an author's self-insertion or wish fulfillment.”

Tanya gives the most epic and hyped rally speeches. But fyi, Mary didn't really pull that move out of her ass out of nowhere. They've been building up to her being op for a while, since the end of the season actually. They've been showing her eyes glow the same way Tanya's does, meaning that "God"/Being X is giving her power.

Between the epic voice acting (also Tatsumaki in One Punch Man, and Tamaki Kotatsu in Fire Force) and the facial expressions, and the epic lines. I love how she hypes up her men. I get as hyped as they do. XD
