Separated Simtimates Silk Robe (Patreon)

When I saw the robe and pajama pants that came with the Simtimates kit, I knew I wanted the robe on its own. So I separated it, so your sims can wear the robe with the underwear of your choice - or with nothing at all!

There are a few key things to know about this piece, so I'm gonna dive right into the details:

1) You may experience clipping with some clothing. Because the robe overlaps quite a bit of the legs, certain meshes may clip through the fabric of the robe (avoiding clipping is why the original is a full body outfit). I've tried to make the robe work as smoothly as possible with naked bottoms and with close items such as underwear, but bulkier pants will almost certainly clip.

2) There may be some texture issues with certain clothing bottoms. I won't bore you with all the specific details, but I manually re-arranged the UV maps and textures in order to show off as much of the naked legs as possible. This means you might see issues if you use the robe with pants or shoes that overlap the texture space of the robe.

3) You don't need the original kit to use this. This item is completely standalone and can be used in your game regardless of whether you own the Simtimates kit or not.

I'm hopeful that issues 1 and 2 won't crop up too often for players, especially if you pair the robe with underwear or a naked lower half!

The original robe/pants set came in 11 swatches. I've added some more of my own, both in solid colors and matching patterns, to bump the robe up to 22 swatches in total.

The robe can be found in the Jackets subcategory, and is categorized as Sleepwear. It's currently available to sims with a masculine frame.
