JAIYANDT Tumblr Sunk (Patreon)

Well, after about 5-6 months of Posting Through It, the Tumblr anti-porn-bot sent jaiyandt.tumblr.com to the same fate as my original blog - that is, invisible to everyone who wasn't already following. I'm not really surprised, but I did think that they might have eased up enough for the blog to last longer. As before, this means potential new viewers can't find it, and stops its growth dead, neutering the reason I made it at all. Rather than remake it yet again, I deleted it and parked the URL. I think I'll just take this as a loss, and keep my Tumblr presence to the preexisting blogs and shitposting. Advertising furry smut on there seems like a pointless uphill struggle. Besides, for the business, a depopulated social site like Tumblr isn't really busy enough to merit more effort than autoposts.

Interestingly, although numerous smut pieces existed on jaiyandt.tumblr.com, not all of them were flagged as porn. At a glance, there might be a pattern - I suspect the bot has learned to recognize illustrated ahegao faces, like this one and the recent Rosa piece. But who knows? ask-the-werewolves.tumblr.com is still up, but going back to it seems kind of contradictory and too-little-too-late, especially since ATW has other outlets now anyway. Tumblr as a whole might just be a funny little dead end of a website.
