Congrats on getting your own place, that's awesome! Please don't ever feel that you need to work yourself to death for our sake. We'll still be here. Artists need vacation days too!

I understand that feeling at the end there. It's been fucking rough. I know I'd miss the hell out of you if you did decide to pack it in, but I'd also understand the sentiment. If there's one thing that last year and this year have taught me, it's to take nothing at ALL for granted, especially people. All this shit is so fragile, when it really comes down to it. It's utterly terrifying. So I'll appreciate you while you're here bud, you've been a wonderful person to have in my life and I'm with you all the way. Hope next year's better for all of us, and I'm lookin forward to seeing what the new year brings for you.

You’re certainly not obligated to provide us with this level of transparency and forwardness, but it is most DEFINITELY recognized and appreciated, as is the work you put yourself through largely for us. Even independent from COVID, the past year has forced me to take a long, hard look at my work-life balance, so I fully respect your decision to take things at a slower pace. You’re absolutely right that you both need and /deserve/ a break, and I hope the new year provides one. All the same, watching your artistic endeavors, new and old, develop has always been one of the brighter spots in what has otherwise been a formidable year, and it’s been both an honor and a pleasure to be some small part of that.
