This is what I got after a week of Blender tutorials O.O''

Have started it in march and felt like going back to it. I decided to start learning Blender properly, have watched dozens of tutorials for navigating, how to use the modeling tools and starting a char base mesh. Still need to learn how to model the edge flow for animations and well obviously how to paint a model and rigging and animating and irgh.... it's a lot. But it's fun.

Since I feel kinda burned lately its a nice change and I feel becoming better at it, which gives me back some energy. I hope you don't mind me playing around with 3D some more.

Also decided to use Silber instead of Glas for learning 3D since when I mess him up it's not so heartbreaking for me. As you know I am very attached to my babies but messing up Glas would feel even more painful to me XD I hope this makes sense.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?! Please leave me your thoughts in the comments below. Would love to hear from you.

LOVE

Matthias

Hey that's great! Learning a different medium is a great way to keep things feeling fresh, and blender is a great 3D tool! If you need any help with 3D stuff, I'm more than happy to help, keep up the awesome work!

What tutorials are you watching? I'm looking for a good series

I think you're getting fantastic progress! Great job!

Meanbeard

It is good to learn new things. Keep it up.

CinSational

looks good so far man! man sure to keep an eye with your edge loops and vertices, it's hard trying to wrangle them later

Jeofka

YESSSS! One of us- one of us! More seriously, you look to be more accomplished in blender than I am after years of essentially using blender for therapy.

AnimasAnimus

need to retopo it anyways XD for now its just about learning fundamentals. thx for the advice never the less

I don't think so, honey. You can do way more things, for sure! All I did was following a tutorial and took me days to come to this point....and as 8fold already said, the edge flow and overall structure is messy and not really useable for anything....but... ONE OF US ONE OF US XD

I think the ones I watched aren't very good... BUT my irl dear friend T. told me I should check out tutorials by Fliped Normals or Danny Mac 3D on Youtube. She said Danny Mac 3D has a Gumroad with very good explained tutorials as well. So hope this helps <3
