I just got those same shoes last week! They're super comfortable

Time to upgrade my car’s emergency box.

These are all great ideas; throw in some pemmican or (my favorite) Kendal mint cake, as well as a litre of sealed water and you're golden! :)

I love that we got the pdf before the video, because context is for square!

Hammocks aren’t just for comfort; they also let you sleep off the ground away from snakes, scorpions and other crawling things.

This comment (and similar like it was on YT comments) but I wanted to put it here: Never go into confined spaces, you will pass out without warning The body detects excess CO2 but not missing O2. O2 meters are not cheap (and probably not what was in that box). If there is not enough O2, everything will seem fine, then you'll black out. If someone comes to rescue you quickly enough, they too will pass out and die without a respirator. In addition, there are other possible hazards that are poisonous and while often initially detectable (like H2S), it completely overwhelms your senses in seconds and you can't tell you are still breathing it (and getting poisoned). Something you might want to consider for the don't die box is a portable O2 canned respirator (they usually store 1-2 mins of O2), though I have no idea how you are going to carry around all this stuff. More likely you'll leave a lot of it at home or in the car, etc, and not have it when needed. Nice stuff though. There's lots of good vids on this but this is the shortest I could find that was useful at barely over 1 minute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DS6mAqIcpzs Stay safe and don't die!
