Been working on this in between commissions and Irl work. honestly, just learning more about how nodes in godot works takes up most of my free time as of late and i had hoped that i'd have it finished by now BUT since everything but rouge has been painted and I think this version controls WAY better and isn't having a many errors than the original pixel one, i figured i'd share the WIP with folks.

Went back to the Mangia inspiration concept for this game mode, but am thinking about having the catcher game and other mini games being available within the overarching game, perhaps tying the different casual game styles together with a visual novel / dating sim or something. Maybe throw in some match 3 once i get that to stop crashing on me. It really just depends on what I'm able to learn in between life stuff.

This version has a place holder rouge but now that i know how to use just text boxes and in program color rects to make quick mock ups to code, i think i my flip how I work on games by focusing on the code first and getting it to work and THEN doing thumbnails, roughs and ectera. So future game updates may be super rough, like a square moving across a screen of other squares, before drawings are added, but from the feed back i'm getting, folks would prefer to see something / a minimal viable product, verses having long waits between updates.

But I hope everyone is doing alright, only a few more weeks till the new year. I hope for everyone that things start to turn around. be healthy, happy and hopeful out there and stay safe this holiday season. :)
