More Godot Tests - Rough Build (Patreon)

Still working with Godot (and now twine) but this is a SUPER rough build of donut party - remastered that i designed using the feedback i got from itch.io and since some folks had been asking about donut party, i figured i would share what i have even though it's really rough and I don't think it's ready for public viewing, but since folks showed interest i figured there would be no harm.

I melded the first belly burst game mechanics with the concepts of donut party and added a simple shooting mechanic (space bar, move with left and right) to allow the player to shoot specific donuts to get points while catching only the donuts they want to catch. 

there are 5 stages of expansion for the 8 expansion types i have planned for rouge and on the left side of the screen she'll be shown playing the arcade cabinet while you play on the right. Think pizza towers TV but with various viewing angles and the implication that the cabinet it self is watching Rouge. I haven't finished her visuals yet as i wanted the game to function first but a lot of what was learned and used here will be carried over to the larger RPG / Point and Click Godot project I've been working on along side this and the clicker game ideas have been canceled since it didn't really do well when play testing with friends and they seemed to prefer stuff with at least some kind of direct movement mechanics and seem to prefer shorter bursts of gameplay instead of long grindy stuff.

I know it's been a while between updates, but I really want to give my all here 'cause I believe that just because something is lewd, doesn't mean I shouldn't try to give it quality and my friends and other supporters like you all have been really helpful in me narrowing down my scope. I just hope health doesn't continue to derail things for me (or something worse, please stay safe out there people) so I can pick back up the pace.

When the Rouge Roughs are done I'll update the game and upload those as well.

so i think that's everything. please let me know what you think and yes, in the final release the starting high score is going to be set to 25000 but it got thrown higher during testing at the request of my friends who are not casual gamers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
