This mod, as with bamboo, will allow you to make furniture with barrels. You will therefore have to prepare your Castaway Starter Home with this new off-the-grid object. 

As you might expect, barrels don't grow, so you'll need to prepare a small dump on your land to equip yourself.

You can create 2 styles of fireplaces, a barbecue or a Cookstove.

Barrels can be placed on your land in two positions, by default they are buried.

Vertically it can also be used to place different objects on it.
